CRO liebt das kreative Chaos und den Kosmos, der daraus entstehen kann. Wer einen Blick auf das Œuvre des 32-Jährigen in den letzten Wochen, Monaten und Jahren wirft, dem wird nicht entgehen, dass die eine Berufsbezeichnung „Musiker“ für CRO längst zu kurz greift.
Gut, er war schon immer ein Künstler, dessen Werk einzig Resultat eines ausgeprägten und grenzenlosen Freiheitsdrangs ist – am Mikrofon, auf der MPC, an der Leinwand im Atelier. Auf der Bühne oder im virtuellen, digitalen Raum. Permanenter Sturm und Drang, künstlerische Häutungen. Entwicklungen.
Transformationen. Allein die Maske: Ikonologie und Ikonographie. Seit mehr als einer Dekade nun schon.
Jeder „Rahmen“ – für CRO zu klein. Zeuge werden, das eine Identität nicht mehr reicht. Um all das zu verkörpern und zu definieren, was diesen kreativen Borderliner ausmacht. Zu CRO gesellt sich CARLITO, die Seele braucht Platz, Inhalte eine neue Form. Neue ZeichenSprachen.
Gerade in den letzten Jahren konnte man CRO dabei zusehen, wie er, der eigenen Rast- und Ruhelosigkeit folgend, immer wieder neue künstlerische und kreative Ebenen eröffnet hat – und zwar fernab aller Kategorien und Genres, Disziplinen und Dimensionen. Er ist – und das ist nicht zu hoch gegriffen – einer der größten Gegenwartskünstler unserer Zeit.
Dieser Zeit.
