Our world is part of a greater spiritual cosmos often demonstrated by the location of magical guardian animals at the 4 main directions of the compass. In rites, prayers and rituals these directional guardians are invoked and remembered before any transformative work begins. As they hold the 4 corners of the cosmos in their safe keeping. In practice of all sacred traditions to feel the spiritual connection to the cosmos, with reverence to the great primal tree Yggdrasil that supports the sky from the earth.
