Ephemeral Echo

I was playing around with the "Cuban Piano" and kind of liked the sound of it.
So, I was just thinking of what kind of vista might be nice for some rhythm sets I was playing with.

It put me in mind of a jungle setting, so I got to wondering if there were some jungle sounds that were available...and there was one...so I grabbed it.

I wanted something like an oboe or bassoon to blast out through the scenery, but it needed a little more power. I thought about the brightness of brass, so I checked out the Tuba...but it was too brassy. However, just for fun, I picked up the EQ on the hi and lo spectrum ends and left the middle alone, and kept playing down the scale until, happily, it had just the right sound.

Then I wanted some different unique sounds, so I kept playing with the percussion sets until something almost like a woodpecker sound popped out.
So it became part of the mix.

I hope it works out well for an enjoyable ride through the rain forest.
