When we picked up Jazzuelle for an original single at the end of 2024, we knew we wanted to do something special for it to ring in the new year. It didn’t take long for us to realize we wanted to ask Fred if he’d be interested in handling remix duties. We’ve been wanting to work with Fred since early last year and have always loved his work on Jazzuelle’s highly successful single “Forget Me” with Lazarusman. So, it was a no-brainer for us.

We’re glad he was eager to take on the project and excited to share both his Vocal Remix and Dub versions with you! While both versions retain much of the same beautiful instrumentation as the original mix, Fred has given them a slightly darker tone that we think you’ll find perfectly complements Jazzuelle’s original track.

For our milestone 50th release, we're happy to share an excellent 3 track EP by the UK's talented DJ Christian B. "Find My Way" is a soulful Deep House tune featuring dreamy sounds and keys, a catchy piano chord progression that's complimented by a nice full low end, and a vocal that's sure to get crowd feeling right. The music itself on Find My Way was such a great mood that we've included an instrumental version as well.

The next track "Don't Go" compliments Find My Way perfectly as another tune with great energy and mood to it. Don't Go features more of those deep dreamy sounds similar to Find My Way, some vocal chops, and a bass line that's sure to get the feet moving and the heads bobbing.

Lalo Leyy hails from the beautiful Cancun Quintana Roo, Mexico. Lalo’s style ranges from Soulful House, Funky House, and Disco to Deep and Tech House. Jose Aranda, based out of Granada, Spain has teamed up with Lalo on this Summer fueled track as well.

Lalo is on fire at the moment, pumping out new music regularly, and getting picked up by some great labels like Hive and Open Bar Music. He was featured as a Top 500 artist of 2022 on Traxsource, and his music is finding support by legends like Louie Vega. Jose is also hard at work with tunes influenced by Afro and Tribal House vibes. So, we're glad to have these 2 talented artists on Cromarti, and look forward to working together more in the near future. 

Featuring catchy vocals, and a great funky groove, we think you'll find "Next to Me" to be one of those perfect feel-good tracks to fit in your sets this Summer. Aside from the original, we've got some great remixes to go along with it by T. Markakis, Peter Mac, and Colau.

Cromarti Sessions 012 - Mixed by Mo'Cream

For our first release of the new year, we have "Noire" by Pigsie! As you can tell we've really been enjoying the sounds from these 2 over the past year and their take on Deep House. That said, Noire was a track we were eager to pick up. The track includes their signature sounds of layered ambience, warm pads, textures and melodies. From the start, it gets going with a catchy layered bass line consisting of a synth hit and some low end for a solid bounce to the track. It's a fantastic unique deep tune, and we're happy to have it be the kick off to the new year.

To accompany this one, we thought we would have a remix done by someone we're big fans of, and who's sound would compliment the original. After reaching out to him on the project, we were really excited to hear that Jazzuelle was interested to take on the task and work with us. His remix of Noire follows the release of his latest album "ENIGMA", which we highly suggest, out now on We Go Deep.

Our next release features a collaboration between Lalo Leyy & Chanknous with their track 6PM. It's a fantastic tune with a beautiful vocal we think you'll find is perfect for those day parties and sunset sessions.

We decided to split this one into a 2 part release to have some other artists we love put there own spin on it. For part 1 we see the return of the legendary Sebb Junior for another Deep House groover similar to his work on Demarkus Lewis's Airlock EP. So, if you loved that remix of his, you're going to love this one just as much!  

We also see the return of a production duo in Part 1 that we've been a firm believer in for some time now - Sachrias & Aslak. Sachrias & Aslak have released music on Cromarti since 2011 with their 2 part release for "Stromso", which we had an amazing selection of artists rework. Their sound and production quality are top notch, and we have no doubt you're going to love the deep dub mix they've turned out for this one.

For Part 2 we've got 2 more amazing remixes to offer up. Out of Italy, we have a remix by Vincenzo! Personally one of our favorite producers over the years, Vincenzo has done work for some of the worlds leading labels. Such as: Bedrock, Toolroom, Anjunadeep, Lazy Days Music, Dessous, Poker Flat, Vapour and more. We're happy to be working with him on this one, and some original material in the near future. He's turned out a beautiful remix for 6PM along the lines of his deeper moods he's iconic for. We think you'll be loving these for those sunset sessions this Spring & Summer.

We're excited to share this next release with you all! We said we would be back with more from these 2, and boy did they deliver an excellent groove. TshegoTMM & Vencer Café's new track "Sunshine On The New Beginning" is a head nodding groove featuring an excellent fat and funky bass line, prominent drums, distorted funky guitar, and a vocal sample of the legendary Gil Scott-Heron. It's one to surely get the crowd pumping. 

Aside from the original, we've got 2 more excellent remixes served up by some new artists to Cromarti Records that we have been wanting to work with. First we have Jude Brown, also from South Africa out of Cape Town, providing an excellent heavy groove accompanied by nice subtle deep sounds and keys perfect for the floors this Summer. We're really loving Jude's style, and look forward to working with him more in the near future.

Next up we've got another excellent remix provided by Carl Price & Paul Hawkins out of London, UK. We've been paying attention to these guys as well and were eager to get them on board. They've turned out an awesome remix with that deep Classic House feel to it that's hard to deny moving to. Our next release features a deep tune by Jamie Jaq, an aspiring producer hailing from the KwaZulu-Natal, Durban region of South Africa. Inspired by 90s House and UK Garage music, Jamie's tracks have a great old school sense of style and depth to them. "The Things You Hide" is just that, a beautiful track with a fat kick and a main focus around deep piano chord progressions, a complimentary layered low end, and smooth filtered vocals.

We've got 2 great remixes on this one to compliment the original. We're happy to have Manuel Kane back with his signature deep and driving sound. We're also glad to have Col Lawton on board with his remix as a deep percussion / drums based groove. We've been wanting to work with Col who's been on fire as of late with some excellent new music. From originals to remixes this year has been a big year for us in supporting some talented producers and Deep House music coming out of the South African region. If you’re from South Africa, the artist for our next release needs little to no introduction. For those of you who follow us, and may not know of his music yet, Jazzuelle is one of South Africa’s most prominent and sought after Producers and DJs.

We kicked off 2024 with his remix of Pigsie’s track “Noire”. Which was a beautifully deep version of their original track with a lush and heavy low end sound. Now at the end of 2024, we’re happy to share this new single with you by Jazzuelle called “7 Moons” featuring poetic spoken word vocals by Sbu Simelane!

7 moons is certainly one of his tracks that stands apart from most Deep House music you will hear out there at the moment. He’s one of those producers where, when you hear one of his songs, there’s usually no mistaking it for someone else. For the past decade Jazzuelle has absolutely carved out a name for himself, standing apart from the rest with his signature sound.

For those of you first discovering his music, Fred Everything is a Juno nominated producer & DJ based in Montreal, Canada. With a career spanning over 25 years, he has over 250 releases on labels such as 20/20 Vision, OM Records, Defected and has remixed artists such as Curtis Mayfield, Jazzanova & Groove Armada. He has performed all over the world playing at clubs such as Fabric (London), Space (Ibiza), and Smart Bar (Chicago), as well as festivals such as Coachella (California, USA) Piknic Électronik/Igloofest (Montreal) and Defected (Croatia). In 2005, he founded his record label, Lazy Days Recordings, releasing music by artists such as Atjazz, Shur-I-Kan and Art of Tones as well as his own work and collaborations.
