The first release on digital and vinyl wants to be, as well as a point of arrival, a starting point for setting new targets, like promoting italian and international artists and new talents, and fixing what since many years was recognised in parties as “Cromedrop style”. The influence comes from the independent electronic music scene that characterized the italian sound in the 90’s and then developed itself in multiple forms. ACV and Cannibald, untill the only 10 years old Truckstop 76th and Stirpe999 for the experimental side, were the mentors during this journey. the sonorities that come out of this release are varied, from acids basslines mixed with psychedelic sounds, to monolithic basses alternating with progressive sounds. Four tracks for four producers: The first one, “Funghi e moscardini” by Tiburon, is an ode to psychedelic violence.Tiburon is ever been the perfect meeting point between techno and psy-trance, and he can prove it with this track. The second one, “That’s good” by MasterInFreeMuzik, has the hypnotism as its best weapon; made by 303 basslines and distorted biting synths goes directly to the point. The b side changes approach with “Out of borders” by Tomz.Db. Synths from 90’s and progressive sounds create a journey between past and present, going through the future. “Bt 01” by Muttley closes the vynil with a magic tribal touch: a squared and trippy track at the same times suggested if is your first time at fight club.

Cromedrop nasce nell’autunno del 2008 dall'idea di un gruppo di artisti, producer e dj di unire l’arte alla musica elettronica. Il progetto organizza serate ed eventi, proponendo agli artisti che espongono un tema da rielaborare come traccia per la loro creatività. E' un progetto itinerante, e questo format tematico permette di dipingere scenari sempre diversi nei luoghi ospitanti, e spargere frammenti di riflessione capaci di contaminare menti e spazi. Gli argini della consuetudine vengono così valicati, e gli schemi monocordi a cui ormai l'immobilità mentale ci aveva abituato ad interpretare la vita quotidiana si confondono fino a sparire, liberando la fantasia dal carcere in cui era stata a lungo relegata. Dalla fusione congiunta dei fermenti interni e dall’apporto eterogeneo di contributi esterni, Cromedrop porta avanti un percorso alternativo che coniuga pensiero e movimento, divertimento e cultura.
