Goa is over 20 years old in the mean time. Time to have a retrodelic look! For this I dug in my huge cd & vinyl collection and decided to make a mix for every year for the period 1994-2014 to show the "new" generation of goa people how goa-trance evolved, and never really died ;)

This second mix is about 1995, mixed with 2 CDJ1000s and Pioneer djm300. It was a big treat, as many of the tracks are SUPER hard to mix. I hope I managed decently :) So, have a look, a listen and make sure to buy the music if you like it!

Goa is over 20 years old in the mean time. Time to have a retrodelic look! For this I dug in my huge cd & vinyl collection and decided to make a mix for every year for the period 1994-2014 to show the "new" generation of goa people how goa-trance evolved, and never really died ;)

This third mix is about 1996, mixed with 2 CDJ1000s and Pioneer djm300 (no lap top mixing involved!). It was a big treat, as many of the tracks are SUPER hard to mix. But I chose the tracks for their musical value, not for their mixing abilities. I hope I managed decently anyway :)This is the first of 2 mixes from 1996. This is the morning/sunrise mix, later on I will also make a "night" - more acidic old school goa trance mix! :) So, have a look, a listen and make sure to buy the music if you like it!

Anoebis - The History Of Goatrance - 1996 (Morning Side)

Gnotn was created during a creative challenge in October 2024. Ntogn invited the over 160 members of Aedi to choose and remix an unfinished project of his.

All submissions were gathered in an anonymous playlist and voted for by everyone in the community. The release title, track titles, and artwork underwent similar democratic processes.

Released under the February full moon, 2025.

On August 25th I had the pleasure of attending a local radio station as a guest on https://www.facebook.com/brutarialudonisan to share with the local electronic community the Goa Trance vibe on facebook live ( https://www.facebook.com/brutarialudonisan/videos/488267104980871/ )and also FM radio.

It was an amazing opportunity to raise awareness and I had a great time doing it,  improvising a track-list ranging from neogoa to oldschool to neogoa again (also including a nitzho track in the end) as I tried to keep everyone glued to they're speakers.

This ninth mix is about 2000, mixed with 2 CDJ1000s and Pioneer djm300 (no lap top mixing involved!).  In this period goa-trance was fading away... Still I think I managed to captures most styles in 1 mix... starting dreamy, going to deep, later even acidic territory, going back up to madness, more trancy stuff and a euphotic climax to end! :) Hopefully it sounds like a good story! :) The next mix will be about 2001! :) So, have a look, a listen, download it and make sure to buy the music if you like it!

I guess the idea of becoming a DJ came from the desire to share vibes I was experiencing at home with friends and fellow space cadets ( here in Iasi, Romania and the surrounding open air locations ) averaging a gig once every month ) the Goa Trance tracks I so upliftingly adored, with a joy only a child could recognize. As time got by I gradually developed affinities for different sub-gender shoulders of electronic psychedelic music like Psytrance / Nightpsy / Forest / Darkpsy, but the uplifting positive vibration of  Goa Trance laser kicks never left my heart, and so here I am since 2010 trying to do my best and create a story with every performance, overwhelmed by support, feedback and gratitude feels like I have to go on and spread the bliss, thus allowing me to share the stage in 2015 with artists performing at Transylvaliens Festival and the now legendary APSARA !

What really makes my sets shine is an oldschoolish goa trance vibe (going as high as 150 BPM), defined by intergalactic love supernovas and hard stomping drum beats, but I could also share a meditative trance with a chill-out set.
