The very first idea of the song appeared in a far 2014 and was only a first half of the future track. After four long years, in 2018, during the practice improvisation the song was extended with the second half, and almost immediately the band started recording the track at Kyiv based studio named "Audiapolis". But due to some internal circumstances it hadn’t progressed beyond the recording of the rhythm section and was postponed on indefinite term. And so, in the beginning of 2022, the band decided to continue the planned and started cooperating with the SoundPlant studio (Kyiv, Ukraine), but once again, by some strange magical coincidence, only the rhythm section was recorded, when the further recording had to be interrupted because a full-scale war began in Ukraine on the 25th of February 2022. The first guitar recording session was scheduled for the 26th of February 2022... Thanking to the defenders of Ukraine and the Universe all the members of the band and the Studio remained unharmed and both were able to continue cooperation and implementation of the planned project in the end of August 2022, and by the end of September the work on the track was finished.

The central ideas of the song are, first of all, rethinking of an unhappy and unrequited love, which cannot be restored no matter how much we want to, and the necessity to overcome those triggers which hit where it is going to hurt in this context. Therefore, you should not build-up any illusions, you should not live in the past poisoning your life because the life is the only one for each of us.

The sound of the track is completely new for the band and differs from all the previous records primarily due to the presence of a large number of backing vocals, experiments with keyboards, guitar effects and recording quality. In addition, this is the first band’s record, which is available on absolutely all streaming platforms, and all the funds collected from the Bandcamp the band will donate in a favor of a victims of russian aggression in Ukraine.

We're glad to share our brand new single with you, guys. This is the title track from our upcoming album.
"Forgiveness" is a story about the feelings that are going to stay with us till the very end. It's about the significance of being human even when we realize that a relationship doesn’t work. It's also a song about how important the ability to forgive people is, and about the fact that true feelings last forever.

Forgiveness

Cronestery is a Ukrainian rock band based in Kyiv, which plays in the genre of Progressive Rock. From the very beginning of its foundation and until the 2022, the band was called Another Morning Past Me. The band consists of three members: Ross Lavey (guitar, keys, vocals), Pavlo Zayats (bass guitar) and Andrii Zakharin (drums, vocals). For current moment the band has one released LP and five released singles.

The music style of the band can be characterized with the following features: deep metaphorical texts about unrequited love, melodic, sensual and mostly minor music and a quite long length of the songs, which usually consist of several parts and aim to reproduce the full cycle of unhappy love experience in the language of music.

The band's active performing activity began in 2016 and since then Cronestery has played dozens of gigs in various underground Kyiv clubs and participated in several festivals.

Currently, the band is engaged into studio work and is actively working on a new material.
