A collection of some of the best one-take, live studio sessions by Jackson Diner (Groovecluster) and Zora McBride recorded within the last two years. Zora plays keyboards and uses his speech synthesis program to read spontaneous lines from various works of literature. Jackson plays guitar and synth, sequences beats, and adds effects. 

It's sort of a strangely accessible half-way point between the idm/prog fusion of Groovecluster and the dense, exploratory samplescapes of Mexican Space Train.

Neither of us seen the video beforehand - it was kind of a random selection. Strangely, it works very well. While listening to this jam, you may ask yourselves, Why? Don't ask this question. Cronjiy (pronounced crahn-jai) is a side project of Groovecluster. All one take, improvisational music with minimal editing/mastering. If you like this stuff, be sure to check out Mexican Space Train. The sound can best be described as glitchy, sometimes housey beats colored with ominous soundscapes, angular guitar riffs, unconventional chord progressions, and computer voices reading obscure works of literature.
