Stanislav Tolkachev - Yes, Today

Sometimes the right things just fall into the right place and so it happened with an old track by Thomas P. Heckmann under his Drax disguise, named Section 2. Originally released as Techno’s first ever 7inch, it was very popular in 1993 and paved the way for the huge follow ups like Drax Three -Phosphene and the hugely influential and successful Drax LTD.II - Amphetamine.

„I was a fan of your Drax material & I had the original red picture disc, had that track on my hard drive & it fitted perfect to the track I was making at the time, sent it to Alan Fitzpatrick a few years ago & he would always ask me if it will ever get released, then out of the blue he sent me his edit & the rest as they say is history!!“

Charles Fenckler delivers the first single to be taken from his debut album Diving From The Void, the furious Stellar Acid, backed by a formidable remix from fellow countryman, Francois X. 

Classic rave vibes are the order of the day on Fenckler’s original track as the notorious sound of the 303 wreaks havoc, peaking and resonating intensely as straight up percussion and ominous pads provide the backbone to this dance floor burner. Concrete resident and D3MENTED label boss Francois X steps up with a very clever remix which utilises small elements from the acid line and pads to create and entirely new monster complete with it’s own pumped up drum workout.

This time is Ricardo Rodrigues AKA Industrialyzer who lands on the court of Damon Wild with three tracks perfectly aliened with the label's philosophy, Synewave has been at the service of real techno for over 20 years. 

It all begins with "Analogue Planet" a 130 bpm journey which rouses the dance floor whilst stimulating the mind, giving both of them no mercy. 

The second track, "Multiple Walls", carries the flavour of an Old School small march with a hammondesque synth which revolves around the groove from beginning to end. 

The atmosphere becomes dark and acid in the third and final track on this release. "Orbit X" is an emotional roller coaster which develops in different phases, everyone of which takes the listener by surprise. 

With this release Industrialyzer reminds us that, after all, New York, Detroit, Chicago, Berlin, Amsterdam or Lisbon don't really matter, quality techno is a global affair and Synewave consistently confirms this with releases above all schemes, movements and trends. Monumental.

The Rekids boss linked with Patrick Mason—a young creative at the forefront of Berlin’s art, fashion, dance music and LGBT scene—back in 2018 after they struck up a friendship in Panorama Bar. The hard-hitting techno opener ‘Talking 2 B Mad’ is built on rock solid drums that never let up. Industrial synth fizzes twisted vocal loops and icy hi hats add detail to the most physical groove, which cannot fail to get you moving. On the flip, ‘Twitch' is just as physical and direct, this time with big synths suspending you in midair as the hammering drums seem to grow in size. It’s frenzied techno that is designed to make you sweat.
