Crystal Chamber

Audiofly return to their beloved Supernature after a hiatus of over two years following their last EP on Get physical. With a hectic worldwide touring schedule and the completion of their debut Flying Circus Ibiza residency @ Sankeys, studio time was scarce for the boys.  In the few weeks they had back home in Barcelona, Anthony and Luca put their heart and soul into the creation of the Excuse My Wilderness EP. A process that took over 6 months to complete. The seeds for this exciting collaboration between Nick Warren and Guy Mantzur were sown a long time ago during snatched conversations at airport terminals, online and at various shows around the world. But, their hectic schedules has meant that patience has been a necessary virtue when it came to actually finding time to work together on this new project. However, the final product – “Sad Robot” – for John Digweed’s Bedrock label has definitely been worth the wait!

This sparkling gem of a track pushes all the right buttons: a low-slung, percussive groove backbone, peppered with twisted vocal snippets and an ebb and flow of euphoric attitude that only comes from years of experience of rocking the best dancefloors around the world week in week out. With added excitement in the form of an energetic, throbbing monster of a remix by Musumeci (aka Sicilian DJ/Producer Mauro Di Martino) – this new package from Bedrock is set to fly.

Nick Warren has just recently returned from another successful tour of South America, and is currently working with production partner Jody Wisternoff on a new Way Out West album. Meanwhile, Guy Mantzur has forthcoming releases lined up on Kompakt and Lost & Found. This first meeting of musical minds for Bedrock has proved such a creative success, we can only hope they find time for more collaborations like this in the future.

Known as globally touring DJ and the man behind OFF Recordings for many years, 2016 sees a massive changes for Andre Crom. He embarked on a journey in many ways, physically (from Berlin to Barcelona), musically (from house to techno), and artistically, from being primarily a DJ, to becoming a full-fledged music producer.  

After years of global touring, mostly based on heading a wellknown label, and having coproduced a number of club hits, Crom realized that - few exceptions apart - the foundation of becoming and staying an internationally relevant electronic music artist, is to become a really accomplished producer with a trademark sound.  He soundtracks the summer and autumn of Catalunya's capital with two chord-heavy cuts between techno and house. 
"Estiu", is an uplifting piece of classic house music, evoking memories of dear 90ies-anthems, perfectly suited to accompany festivals and open airs all through the summer.  "Aestas" consists of similar ingredients, but takes them decidedly more towards techno, resulting in an intense and functional peaktime tool with a hypnotic edge.

The two tracks are another snapshot of the rapid development of Crom's solo production career, and spark the interest for what comes next.

Martin Waslewski, known for his releases in labels like Mother Recordings, Exploited or Monaberry, shows his skills in two big tracks ready to rock all summer parties: 'Clouds' is such an instant classic, real house music with an amazing vocal, you will not take it out from  your head. With this elements, our beloved Purple Disco Machine returns to the kitty family and delivers a super solid remix, one of the tunes of the season in Suara headquarters. Last but not least 'Ace It' works pretty well too, an excellent and acid Dj tool for that moment when you need some extra energy in your sets.
