As much as we are inspired to bring you great artists and their original works, every now and then, there are moments when we love getting people together to get creative and collaborate on some of our favorite tracks. The beauty of which, we turn original pieces into something new and different… so without further ado, we bring to you, a Remix EP of our most notorious and delectable pairing in the Crossfrontier Audio family: Danito & Athina – right in time for Spring.
The duo who've made headway with their Fire, Hydra and Losing Time EPs on CFA in the last year alone, have continued their output in the studio and have produced even more heat on lauded labels, which certainly give us a rich choice of tracks to be remixed – so we found you a few artists that match their energy and give off their own vibes, including a few debuts, and don't worry, they still bring the ruckus...
Opening up the 4 track EP is Miyagi's fantastic take on Tetris, a choice selection over the summer for many DJ's, the SoSo, Einmusika & Katermukke stalwart goes in and gives us a rumbling banger for a debut on Crossfrontier Audio. 
Having made a stellar entrance with us last year, Stereo Underground gives us his signature outer space feel with his climatic touch up of City Lights, colliding the harmony of the vocals over the pounding rhythm, we're sure this is going to make a few moments over the sunshine soaked dancefloors...  
When Danito & Athina released Hydra, you could tell by the name, that it was going to do exactly what it said on the tin, and it did. Sous Sol comes along and twists the original into pure bouncy tech-ness, definitely a great entry for Teo & Lukas' debut on CFA.
For Swipe, the finale, we’ve gone duo for duo, and what a beaut, as Hacker & Miethig give us a storm in a teacup with their big sounding take on what already was causing mayhem. Enter the bright lights and euphoric climax for this one...

Rancido, began his journey as a dancer, producing his own mixes for his dance performances. After years of music on the side, he decided to take it to the next level.

The third entry to the Soul diary is from Kuala Lumpur born artist Meliha, with her debut single, Lone Ranger. Hailing from Malaysia's capital and having spent her teens as a singer songwriter, she steps back into the light with her first electronic outing! A very dynamic debut from one of Asia's new generation, techno queens. With a single incoming on Anjunadeep later in the year with Dee Montero, Meliha is one name to keep an eye out for! In the wings we are pleased to welcome Malaysian maestro Hayze and Berlin based Kris Davis, both brilliantly lending their hands to Lone Ranger.

Last on the EP is “Anesthesia” in collaboration with Sterioa. A shadowy cut with the building tension of an ominous bassline combined with a gentle melody. The contrasting moods fuse with the vocals' soothing textures to take the listener on a twisting journey of epic proportions.

Movement Recordings' next release features a never-before-heard triumvirate on original duties. Quite simply, D-Nox, Uone and Western are pillars of electronic music history. Although normally featured as part of duos, “Never” sees the three formative musicians combine their capabilities. A highly influential artist himself, Dousk returns to Movement Recordings following last year's chart-topping remix of Wally Lopez and Lonya. His first release of 2019 implements a distinctively contoured low-end, mesmerizing modulations and peculiar percussion. The result is yet another masterpiece by the Greek god himself!

Number twenty on San Francisco’s Manjumasi is the second solo artist EP from label co-founder atish. With the Warbler EP, atish presents a pair of original tracks that showcase strange and unique melodic stylings across two distinct energy levels, both featuring eerie and compelling string sounds with heavy use of creative effects. The title track, Warbler, has a solid late-night dance floor groove with a lush and haunting synth line anchoring the mid-range groove. Abyss takes things deeper, again veering into eerie sonic territories with vocal pads floating throughout the mix. This one sits in a more restrained rhythmic territory, well suited to the mood-setting opening hours.

The package features three top-notch remixes from a collection of very serious producers. Sweden’s Dorisburg turns in an incredibly heady interpretation of Abyss, with sparkling glassy pads juxtaposed against a bouncing synth bassline. Melodic master Rodriguez Jr. takes Warbler in a different direction, weaving the original elements into a tapestry of his signature arpeggios and synth crescendos. Lastly, Fort Romeau turns in an energetic Warbler mix, anchored by a long-building stabby bassline that develops into a real acid-tinged driver.
