After enormous success already this year with his remix of Sam Feldt’s ‘Show Me Love’ named the fifth most shazamed song during the Ibiza season and his take on Spada featuring Anna Leyne ‘Catchfire (Sun Sun Sun)’ also riding high in the Beatport chart, EDX is back with another infectious remix - Robin Schulz ‘Sugar’ feat. Francesco Yates, set for release on Friday, September 11th. 

Sampling the 2003 Baby Bash single ‘Suga Suga’, Schulz’ ’Sugar’  is pure summer; with a smooth groove, softly bouncing beat and silky vocals from Canadian singer songwriter Francesco Yates. Enlisted for remix duty, EDX  layers punchy percussion over an intensified beat and the result is an irresistible dance floor hit with all the charm and groove of the original. 

It’s clear from this latest offering that Italian/Swiss producer EDX is showing no signs of slowing down - with quality release after quality release, a Beatport chart topper under his belt this year with his remix of Sons of Maria and Nora en Pure’s ‘Uruguay’, the uber hit remix for Sam Feldt’s "Show Me Love" still growing into summer biggest anthem and a rigorous touring schedule that sees him playing at high profile nightclubs and major festivals around the globe.

With this in mind, Crossfrontier Audio and rising star Sonic Future have collaborated together to provide you with a new series of releases - aptly named Themes.

Each release will focus around a unique structure, unfolding beauty to have as your own, to indulge upon, and to take with you wherever... lasting intricacy built through simplicity. 

Talking about the project, Sonic Future added 'Sometimes we get overloaded by tracks with tons of amazing effects, but no actual musical meaning. For the theme series, I decided to get back to basics. The idea is to present the music around specific melodies or chord progressions, giving a more minimalistic approach based on melodic themes, and building the tracks around motivic developments. The result is certainly more intimate, but I hope it resonates with today´s music.'

Rauschhaus marks his spot on Steyoyoke with a prodigious mind-penetrating trio of tracks, treating ethereal ears to an array of aural pleasures. The Escape Game EP contains three originals, 'Escape Game', named for the title track, as well as 'Moogadishu' and 'Queen of Thorns' come together harmoniously as the foundation of a classically serendipitous Steyoyoke EP.

Familial sounds accompanied by acute compositional arrangements give every production an elusively exceptional quality of uniqueness. 

'Escape Game' is a madhouse of carefully crafted and contorted sounds, intertwining to create an amazing maze of music. A mysterious masterpiece, Rauschhaus had dubbed this his title track for its strong presence.

'Moogadishu' is an ode to the moog instruments and to the conflicted capital of Somalia. The startlingly contrasting nature of the unique types manipulation used in the production stage make this a soothingly dark temptress of a track.

Lastly, 'Queen of Thorns' is a sweet cohesion of musical gifts, accompanied by a dangerous and haunting melody and drum combination. Like a rose with thorns, this piece is sweet and dangerous simultaneously.

A trio of original opuses, "Escape Game" is a stereotypically Steyoyoke EP, a superb way to start this autumn.

We're bringing this one to you at the request of Speaking In Tongues. A special release for the duo; it features all Los Angeles-based artists, including the city's biggest techno export, Palette/Kompakt artist, John Tejada.

His original production, paired with local indie artist, Adult Karate, is a mixture of dub, modular and even slightly industrial sounds. Speaking In Tongues take it from it’s original 105 BPM, ramp it up, strip it down and trip it out with a long, sustained growling bassline and a Depeche Mode-inspired synth hook. Having left most of the vocals up front, they create an array of soundscapes using grainular reverb. Chopping them up to create an epic dancefloor moment.

The album begins with a remix of Soul Button's "Buoyant" by biskuwi. He adds a darker and dramatic feel, leading the way to an inspiring journey. Next, Soul Button's remix of "Kerfuffle" by biskuwi puts you in a dreamlike state with its smooth melodic blend and darker tunes. Next up is Monarke & SEVN’s, "Brahma", remixed by Rustboy will take you to a true transcendental experience. The fourth track by Baset, "Oceana", remixed by Monarke & SEVN, kicks off with a dark vibe leading the way towards a haunting trip with fast-paced beats and striking soundscapes. Anders.’s  “Parapluie" is then remixed by Morphing Spot. A smooth cut with vibrant synths, pushing you upwards all the way to the end. The following track is Rustboy’s, "Precious Thing", remixed by Mashk. It starts off with a cinematic feel and slowly invites you into a state of trance with its positive tunes and crispy hi-hats.
