          Crowcell, a NYC based band formed in 2011 as a result of drummer Carlos Avelar’s efforts to form a band that transcends the genre. After linking up with guitarist and good friend David Rodriguez, Crowcell found its second member. Shortly after, guitarist Russell Miller, vocalist Safi Aiken, and bassist Matt Pompeo joined to form a complete line up. Their collective musical mind is influenced by bands ranging from Katatonia, to Lamb of God, and Killswitch Engage. With their infectious riffs, adrenalin pumping drums, booming bass, and in your face vocals, Crowcell combines beautiful melodies with an aggressive edge.
