STARFISH was the premier Swiss Folk-Pop-group of the 1990s. Their delicate songs of love & hate & other trivialities of life as well as their relentless touring throughout Switzerland & many parts of Northern Europe gained them a strong following. The musical press raved about them, their playing hits on Swiss national radio included classics like "Rain Comes Falling Down" & "Three Young Ladies", "Miini Fründin" sold platinum. Alas, in 1997, the members of the much-acclaimed group decided to go separate ways...

This piece was inspired by the news that an earth-like planet outside of our solar system had been discovered, with solos by Roberto Domeniconi (piano), Jürg Wickihalder (tenor) & Gabriel Schiltknecht (perc).

Crownfisher was first sighted in the early nineties shimmering below the surface of lake Klöntal, hidden jewel in a remote Swiss valley. The rare two-headed creature sprung from the magnetic tempest raging between Werner Fischer and Jan Krohn, gained momentum as a musical and lyrical force for a scintillating school of Starfish, roamed the world in a poetic Travelogue, substantually touching on faraway China and now returning to mainland Helvetia to settle down with their space-sent high priestess Lena Nova.
