This version of the Cuckoo was recorded and performed as part of my IG live stream in late October 2020. I've been working on this song since about 2018, and this is the penultimate draft of my 2020 lyric version. I constructed this variation of the tune on instrumental John Fahey's "Variations On The CooCoo" and studied Clarence Ashley's folk performance of the work. The Taylor 352ce 12 string guitar used for the track was tuned to DADGAD down a minor third.

He’s built high nests in Lido; he swings by the isle of Skye.

When they get their day of hard earned leisure they wander the smoggy streets

Unwittingly it shed a molecule clad all in spears.

Giuliani - Caprice G Major - Op.100 No.12 - Vo-96 (Mastered by Tejaswi Gorti)

This is a raw single take recording of two movements of Agustin Barrios Mangore's La Catedral played on a Haiku 350L  into a Bogner Duende Seco Mojado with Fulltone Tube Tape Echo and an Analog Outfitter's Scanner set on the fastest settings in the effect loop. The extreme left is the Di out of the Scanner and the extreme right is the Line Out of the Bogner.

The Center Channel is the the stereo output of the TTE through an EHX HOG2 into a Moog MF-105 MURF into the Bogner's stereo  (Seco) head into a Koch Loadbox (No scanner)

The Haiku 350L is equipped with Seymour Duncan P-Rails and Triple shot mounting rings. It also has push pull Jimmy Page wiring. Both pickups are used together with their coils set to "parallel" and the the tone control is pulled up engaging the Series link between the pickups. Lots of focus, but a broad tonal spectrum is available with this setting. 

Barrios-La Catedral - EHX HOG 2 & Analog Outfitters Scanner Demo

My last track to celebrate the departure of my beloved Haiku 350L Byrdland scale Les Paul. It was recorded in a single unedited take.

The Guitar was fed into a Bogner Duende Mojado  the effects loop was fed out to a Fulltone TTE into the Analog Outfitters Scanner Vibrato Unit out to the main channel of the Bogner with the tremolo engaged on max depth and speed. The stereo output of the TTE was fed into a Metasonix KV-100 Assblaster into the Stereo Channel of the Bogner.

The Center channel is the Stereo head of the Bogner through a Koch Loadbox, the left is the Analog Outfitters Scanner and the right is the line out from the Bogner.

The guitar used was my Haiku 350L with the out-of-switch phase switch engaged and the Triple Shot rings set to parallel output of the P-Rail pu's.

My first recording with my new Epiphone Elitist Byrdland w/ Nylon Tape Wound Strings on all six slots.

The guitar went into a Bogner Duende Seco Mojado. The Effect Loop out to a Fulltone Tube Tape Echo into the Analog Outfitters Scanner set on the slowest possible settings with lots of Vibrato Gain.  The TTE's stereo Channel went to a Moog Super Delay w/ a Metasonix KV-100 in the effects loop.

This is the first sketch for my piece the Ballad of the Blue Scout. First recorded last fall as a Vo-96 Duet. 

This piece is dedicated to the mysterious disappearance and death of Patricia Pardin, the Blue Scout, who's bones were discovered in Death Valley in 2006 and to Carlos Castaneda and the rest of his cohorts.

This is also my first mixing and mastering experiment w/ Ozone Advanced 7. What fun!

Pareidoliac Penumbras

Crowyote was born in the Phobos reincarnation-processing center when the two-brained Merkahbian scientist, Ya'kub Ch'an Ka'wil, decided to fuse the thetans of a spirit coyote and a spirit raven into one nagual. Ever circulating counter-clockwise, the heyokic Crowyote has tunneled a unique path though this crusty experience called life exploring different avenues of expression and finding music the most pure. At present the Countess Badeniana (Vo-96 Acoustic Synthesizer) is his partner in musical creation. 
He summons and calls upon the creators and diviners of the past imbuing their with an etheric echo of their intention, as well as aligning unusual emanations from parallel tesseract'd paradigms to attempt birthing new sounds into our auric perception.
