Field Records embarks on a new mini trilogy of EPs that will present a magical journey through modern-day trance. First up in the series is Artefakt with their three track effort The Final Theory. Dutch producers Robin Koek and Nick Lapien make up Artefakt, and between them they excel at moody voodoo music on labels like Delsin and Field. 

They open this latest EP with the title track, a deep, spacious house roller with subtle pads and gentle acid that perform slow motion acrobatics for nearly ten minutes. It is suspensory, dreamy music that works on the head as well as the heel. Moving Horizon is then less doleful and introspective but just as deep, with sweeping pads add a sense of scale, busy drums bring the dynamism and icy percussive sounds adding a sense of urgency. Last but not least, Solaris is a fatter, more physical groove with claps and gloopy bass, acid flashes and trancey pads all fleshing out a lush and deep electro workout. This is heavenly stuff that cannot fail to get inside your head and heart.

Vittorio Di Mango is an Italian DJ/producer from the class of 97 who was born in Trani, a small city in the south of Italy. Vittorio's first approach to electronic music was in 2012 when he played in little clubs in his city and those nearby. In 2014 he became interested in Techno music by taking part as a resident DJ in a local organization called "White XXX", which later led him to exhibit with such important artists including Dax J, Phase Fatale, and Samuel Kerridge. His musical sets are characterized by weaving of Techno with that of sounds such as acid, industrial and EBM. In September 2016 releases his first Ep ‘’Wrong definition’’ on Amok Tapes. In January 2017 came out his first remix ‘’Prepare to die’’ on NEN Records. On April 7 was inaugurated ‘’Epilessia’’ his first track on vinyl with I Hate Models on Khemia records.

In 2018 he became part of WAYS and Kepler Club as a resident Dj.

Soma continues to push the boundaries as they announce a new electro sub-label Avoidant – designed to push dynamic and diverse sonics from across the globe. Already with 6 releases under its belt from duo CYRK, Scottish new blood PinballSpider and Autonomous, future stars Syrte & Confluence their roster is steadily growing with fresh talent.

For the label’s next release and its first on vinyl, Kronos Device return in fine form for their first EP in four years ‘The Infinite Ones’ with a bass-heavy, BPM busting electronic gem; synonymous with their sound. Simon Brown (aka Dexorcist) and Phil Klein (aka Bass Junkie) joined forces in 2001 after pre-establishing themselves as major names in the underground scene.

Hyperqub3 throws the listener into a the deep-end sonically with funked up beats and electrostatic vocals slicing through gut-pounding bass that drives through the heart and instantly increases the bounce - all held together by hyperspatial SFX.

Track 2 delves into more heady, cerebral sounds. The title track of the EP, The Infinite Ones’ ripping synth sequences, dramatic pads and pulsing vocal riff is a supremely-produced nod to the duos versatility.

The EP culminates with Control - heavy distortion makes the 808 bass work hard, while robotic overtones and formidable synths command the track. The Infinite Ones is an expertly produced electronic EP that undoubtedly proves Kronos Device as pioneers of the genre.

Peruvian-born Jorge B grew up in Costa Rica where he was first exposed to electronic music during the 90s. Later in life he spent time in Marfa, Texas being influenced by the monumental minimal art of Donald Judd, Dan Flavin and John Chamberlain. The Speed Dial series is a project to drain your mental load, a soundtrack to drain the upsetting urgencies of this world.

We premiere today “Alien Maze”,  a dark and atmospheric sequence where the listener might feel absorbed by the repetitive rumbling kicks & mystic pads.
