Electro Ride was written and produced in 2022 while I was living in Berlin. No studio. Just my laptop, my mic and a cheap midi keyboard I snagged from a random guy on wallapop. Since then, I haven't found the time to release it. At times, I even contemplated leaving it stored on my desktop, dismissing it as not reflective of the sound I wished to represent at the moment. However, I realized such a decision would be quite selfish.

But upon reflection, I've come to appreciate the journey this piece represents... a snapshot of my creativity during a specific time and place. Therefore, I've decided to share it with the world, allowing others to experience its unique energy and vibe.

With previous releases on the likes of Nervous and Street Tracks, Melbourne's Jwalker is fast becoming a very dependable name for house thumpers. Returning to local label Refuge Recordings, he serves up another two weapons. 'Bad News' fuses juggernaut bass with classic '90s house beats, ravey stab samples and Detroit flavoured strings to make for one serious workout, while 'What U Put Me Through' takes an almost dub-style approach to its undulating low end and tense organ notes, veering towards the UKG side of things with cheeky spinbacks and sorrowful, soulful vocal samples.

Toothpick aka Swirl People step out with their newly entitled label Lost In The Swirls, which they have distilled to the more simple name L.I.T.S. Records. The Belgium-based project is an alias of Dimitri & Raoul and they bring fresh house sounds here even though this is a reissue of some classic 90s material. The title track has lush and bright summer pads over driving, tight kick drums. The opener 'May The Funk Be With You' has a classic UK flavour to it with woodpecker-like hits and dusty drum loops under some smart chord work. Last but not least is 'Naked Speedway' which has a warm bassline meandering below expansive chords that bring an early morning vibe. Good stuff.

Magnificent deep and housey raw track from american producer Greg Beato. This guy made incredible records on L.I.E.S and Apron Records, using at its best the lo-fi aesthetic, giving it its beautiful hazey touch. He delivers us here a powerful yet dreamy,and smooth techno driven house, with a fair little touch of acid. This track is from his "Who's the Lichaa over Here" EP on Apron Records.

We are happy to announce our first reissue 12" on MCDE Recordings, a record from Manchester Deep House label Rainy City Music (written by Irfan Rainy & Rex Leon in 1995), thave we have been working on licensing for over a year now; a record that had been a secret weapon of Djs such as Theo Parrish, Marcellus Pittmann, Mike Huckaby, Jeremy Underground and myself - arguably one of the finest house music 12-inches to ever come out of the UK.
To mark the 20th birthday of the release, we have carefully remastered the tracks from the original DAT tapes and only slightly modified the original cover artwork.
