Welcoming to the label for the first time is Pastel Blue from Chicago. He put a super funky twist on “Feed Your Soul” and caused us to get up and shake our rumps with a sound we built the foundation of the label on: Disco Thumpers!

Writes Pastel Blue: “For this song I wanted to take Pepe Silva’s version and create a totally different flip in a style that I often play in my sets. The vocal gave me the feeling of those classic soulful disco anthems so that’s where I took it. I’m very inspired by those feel good anthems that also make you want to dance in the club, so this remix combines those vibes in a really groovy way. I try to imagine my music fitting a glamorous Studio 54 style and like to visualize a room full of very stylish beautiful people getting down so I hope that vision comes through with this remix!”

Pastel Blue has received play from BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, Toolroom, and Spinnin' Records, as well as spins from top DJs such as Sam Feldt, Sam Divine, R3HAB, EDX, and many more. So you know he’s legit.

If you know his music you know he has a love for bass-driven House and Tech-House and he’s all about that percussion section given his drum lessons that started in 4th grade. As always, his goal was to make a peak-hour dance floor bomb and when he pictures booties shaking, you know those booties are gonna be shaking. We’re treated to some fun horns and playful synth melodies but overall the drive and grit is what powers this one home, dusted with a nice array of ear candy.
