Korean-born, New Zealand-based producer La Felix unveils his latest musical endeavor with the release of the electrifying Bassline Jump EP. Inspired by the legendary Prince, La Felix brings a fresh twist to classic disco elements in his new EP. “For HOT,” La Felix shares, “I was inspired by Prince-esque guitars played super high up on the fret, with a super tight staccato rhythm. Once I had the rhythm down, I knew I wanted the track to revolve around the theme of something ‘HOT’.”

The EP features a dynamic lineup of tracks including Do It Like That. Each track showcases La Felix’s knack for crafting infectious grooves with a contemporary edge, while honouring the golden era of disco and funk.
