Having just started out showcasing his sound after discovering his love for the dancefloor and scene, ALPHA is ready to go full force into his mission of creating the perfect sweaty dancefloor. ALPHA axes his music upon dark but melodious sounds to create an intoxicating and violent atmosphere. His tracks have already seen support from major artists such as SNTS and Rebekah.  Get ready.

Max Durante began his professional dj career in 1987 in Rome. As one of the hinges of the 90's rave generation, his sound and his 
presence have been fundamental for the early Italian Techno scene.

He has played on the best Italian Raves and played at the best 
European clubs, Rave and Festivals since 1991. Well respected as a DJ, thanks to his great mixing abilities and as a producer for his 
powerful record productions.

In 1988 he went for the first time in London and he was seriously attracted and seduced by acid house music and acid parties. In 
1990 he returned to London but acid parties were over, because of a prohibition pronounced by the queen of England in 1989.
Meanwhile Max was discovering the rave party phenomena and the first American techno productions. 

Totally fascinated by raves, he went back to Rome more than motivated: inspired.
October 1991 Max and the twins D'Arcangelo organized one of the biggest Italian Rave, the PLUS 8 RAVE. They led for the First 
time in Italy, the Plus 8 Records with Richie Hatwin, Speedy J, Daniel Bell, Cybersonic ...

In the same period in 1991 along with the twins D' Arcangelo he create the first Italian experimental techno band called 
‘’Automatic Sound Unlimited’’. They create in the 90’s the dark side of techno !
Together, they founded in 1991 one of the major realities of the electronic sound from Rome: the automatic sound unlimited.
This sound changed the vision of techno, opening new ways, reaching a new style, mixing techno with electro using industrial 
tones .
This dark sound was different from the well-known techno, as it was based on a perpetual and continuous research .
They were precursors of a sound projected to the future: The experimental techno,
that nowadays we call it industrial techno !

Sonic Groove label boss Adam X named Max Durante a true legend and innovator of ‘Industrial Techno’ in the early 90’s.
His shows are famous in Europe and thanks to his technique and to his performances, the press has named him: ''THE WIZARD OF 
THE DECKS'' the magician of the console.
He started his dj profession after his radio experience in 1986 in a private local radio in Rome.
From 1987 he began to work in clubs, mixing electro and underground music, in the 88/89’s, especially acid house and electro/ 
freestyle of Brooklyn.
From 1987 to 1990, he worked in particular in clubs in Rome : Histerya, Mithos, Bolido' ( Black Out ), Luxuria , Nisida (this was his 
first club, he was the resident DJ in 1987).
From 1991 he dedicated himself completely to big parties (RAVE).
In 1991, together with the D'arcangelo brothers, he produced his first record projects released one year later on Hot Trax (acv sublabel), the first Italian techno label.
Switzerland was attracted by Italian rave and by the DJs that were involve on it . Swiss organizations since 1992 invited more times 
Max Durante to perform in their rave parties , Max was one of the creators of the Italian techno movement and he has also 
contributed to the growth of the Swiss rave generation, and he performed in the early Swiss rave like for example the ENERGY 92, 
ENERGY 93, CUBIC 94, CUBIC 95, etc ..

Now based in Berlin, Caniche developed her penchant for hard and fast Techno music already during her teenage years. Although her first contact with the scene was Hardcore, because it was mainly this music people played at illegal raves, where there were no entry controls so you could participate already at a young age, she finally settled for a more groovy and slower sound. But slower for her doesn't necessarily mean slow in general! Besides fervidly selected gems, reaching from Hardgroove and trancy tunes to full-on Schranz at around 145 bpm, she keeps surprising with unheard weapons of the early 2000s. In her DJ sets, you can always count on thriving percussions and drums, that push you to your limits. 

Since a friend of Caniche's got her interested in soldering, she started building parts of a modular synthesizer. Caniche had lots of fun with the technical and crafty aspects of this hobby, but quickly found that these modules were of little use, if she didn't produce, so during the pandemic this finally changed. First releases on small compilations of local labels in Vienna and Leipzig appeared one after the other. Still in the process of developing her own style, as a producer she heads into a similar direction as with her DJ sets. 

Last but not least, Caniche fiercely fights for more visibility and equal rights of people who are still marginalized and discriminated by the patriarchy. She is co-founder and resident of PUSH - The Female DJ Network in Vienna, which connects FLINTA DJs all over Europe in a kind of network structure that offers mutual support, inspiration, education, and exchange, always with the ulterior motive: together we are stronger.

Great to be in the mix for Soenda! 
Taking you on a hard yet groovy musical rollercoaster with this one, my mix for Soenda includes some of my favourite artists and contains unreleased work from my upcoming EP. 

I have always liked the more melodic and groovy stuff when it comes to electronic music; mainly picking tracks that make me feel something from within, tell me a story, and keep sticking around in my head. Combing that kind of tracks with hard-hitting sounds while finding the right balance is my ball game. I think listening to a lot of metal and rock music influenced me to the harder styles of techno. When it comes to my new EP, I'm taking the same approach. It starts with an ambient track that sets the tone, followed by 2 tracks that are quite different. The EP is set to be released around the summer, so keep an eye out.

HKKPTR is a Leipzig-based project which takes musical roots in black metal. HKKPTR first got in touch with electronic music trough gabber, capturing an industrial and atmospheric soundscape with hints of a dark, hypnotic drive. It wasn't long until he quickly knew he was sharing equal interests with modular mind which lead him to realising his debut EP:VVV trilogy. He works in close collaboration with Modvs, Ambre and unn on FUROR label.
