Like most singers, Crush AKA "Chad Chalmers" found himself singing by the age of six in the church. A Dallas native, he traveled with his mother's church choir through out the city and other parts of the country. At about eight years of age he would go with his mother to sit in at the recording studio where he listened and watched their sessions. It was at that time his love for music would become his passion. Around age 19, Crush would become a third member of the group "Young Money Hustla's" which consisted of himself and two other rap artist. He would go on to record one LP locally after which the group dismembered. He briefly found himself working with other local rap artist soon after on which he recorded a single for Dallas own 97.9 the beat, Dj Big Bink's "D-town Compilation Volume 2". Since then he has acquired skills in the studio along the lines of sound engineering, music producing, and song writing, making him a great asset to the music game. His versatile ability to sing ballads in addition to providing melody to hard rap beats makes for a successful combination.
