It has been barely a month since the last single „We All Need The Love feat. Miami Beat Wave & AG Lyonz“ has hit the floors and gained world wide recognition in the world of electronic dance music. Now the CRUSHBOYS raise the level again in the spheres of peaktime anthems. „In The VIP“ has been produced in the Miami Beat Wave Studios in Miami Florida where DJ Technique and Ulrich Hilbel recorded the stunning vocal talent 2NYCe. They took the rough master to the club Space where P. Diddy‘s tour-DJ Radamas dropped the tune three times that night making the crowd go crazy and raising the roof.

The irresistible combination of contemporary EDM and the flow of popular Latin Rap Star 2NYCe already shook the floors in 2011 when the CRUSHBOYS remixed Miami Beat Wave‘s „Party Don‘t Stop“. Thus the path was set for another explosive collaboration when the two Munich based producers hit the Studio in Florida.

After the dramatic build up, which gets lifted by 2NYCe‘s list of glamorous party ingredients the tune breaks down only to shift gears with a bombastic bassline. Driven by this electrifying House stomp, the MC takes the track back to the oldschool representing who is in the place and what is happening in the VIP.
The CRUSHBOYs and 2NYCe enjoy the party with the obligatory models at the pool and in the club and rides like a Ferrari and a Lambo in the promotional video.
The message is, „You can feel like a VIP and have a blast without the bling bling and the gangster attitude conveyed by the cliché-ridden posture you get with recent R‘n‘B and Rap videos. You don‘t even need a party, you can have it anytime, anyplace.“

The whole package is loaded with three remixes which each in its own right serves another floor. The Deep House- and Tech House-afficionado will find delight in Elec Brown's stripped-down version juxtaposed to the big room feeling of the original. The creators of "In The VIP" themselves render two further remixes. DJ Technique raises the level of pungency in the vein of Benny Benassi and Ulrich Hilbel delivers an even harder edge. His transcription reads like a chapter in the book of Dutch DJs like Hardwell and Nicky Romero, which means a rather rough and ready go on the take.

‘Practice makes perfect’ is a statement that holds true especially in the case of the Hip Hop genre, either on the mic or the mixer. Andreas Strobel’s practice with two turntables and a cross-fader made him at last succeed in winning a prestigious mix-contest at radio station Antenne Bayern in 2003. This was a huge step in the career of the young DJ, for he won a support slot on the tour of the two famous jurors, Tom Novy and DJ Friction. ‘Technique’ was already his pseudonym in the early days that he did credit to. He and Ulrich Hilbel started to perform together under the name ‘CRUSHBOYS’ in 2011.

As a jack of all trades on musical instruments and the production desk, Ulrich was the perfect complement to form the artist act CRUSHBOYS. Ulrich has already been programming beats for 15 years by means of minimal equipment. Looking back on a musical career as a producer for other artists, he was the one who put he project on solid ground. Minimal are also the Techno beats Ulrich has started to spin only 4 years ago.

The CRUSHBOYS proved its huge potential for big room affairs at the party of RTL II’s famous dance program The Dome. This and other experiences led to the question of how to gain even wider recognition in the music biz. The answer was delivered by Andreas’ ex-collegue at Deluxe Music, the A&R pro Anusch Mehdizadeh: ‘You need to succeed with a club anthem.’ Consequently, Anusch started to check his network for ideal partners and collaborations.

Luck fell in the right place at the beginning of 2011, when Andreas’ mentor, DJ Minike, contacted Florida based studio of Miami Beat Wave. The result of this contact was the remix of their album and thus, a door to vocalists was pushed open. On the benefit of this connection with the U.S.A., the first production In Your Rhythm feat. Miami Beat Wave (DDC Top 40) resulted in the release of their debut single on Newpool Music. But the next release CRUSHBOYS - We All Need The Love feat. Miami Beat Wave is just around the corner. The Song unifies the forceful concept of party-friendly, commercial dance music according to the idols of world’s famous David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia and others with the scratch skills derived from the Hip Hop roots of DJ Technique.
