When you're talking about techno, few names have been innovating and evolving as much as Robert Hood. When he's not running things over at M-Plant, he can be found touring the festival circuit with his live show and releasing tonnes of fresh new material.

Today we concentrate on his more melodic alias and under the name Floorplan, Hood has released a stunning album showcasing a slightly different yet equally strong sound.

A new EP is set to drop featuring two re-edits of tracks that appeared on his Floorplan album 'Paradise'. 'Phobia' and 'Never Grow Old' have been given a special Re-Plant and we have the premiere of the latter.

Since establishing herself as a promoter of the highest quality, London based, Nicole Moudaber has transitioned to become a highly respected and sought after DJ and producer with regular appearances at Carl Cox&#8217;s Revolution night at Space Ibiza and for the Circoloco brand around the world. Not to mention some of the worlds leading festivals such as WMC, Time Warp and Glastonbury. Showcasing her diverse taste in music and curation skills Nicole also runs her own label Mood Records, presents In the MOOD radio show and has two recurring club nights for intimate and big room events, In the MOOD and MoodRAW respectively. As she looks forward to her own huge one-day festival, original productions for high-profile labels and remixes on her own label, Nicole presides over an empire that continues to grow in stature and the future looks full of exciting prospects.

Scuba - Too Strong (Nicole Moudaber Remix) [Circus Recordings]

The Smirnoff Sound Collective is global initiative celebrating diversity and inclusivity in electronic music. Along with other members of the collective and key industry mentors, Joseph Ray and Meli were brought together for a creative retreat at Rancho V studio complex Joshua Tree, California. During one of the SSC Retreats. Inspired by the creative collective and their fellow artists, Joe and Meli created the hypnotic 'Inside' - one of many songs created that week - which unfurls from a melodic and delicate house tune into a bass-infused, bellowing track that easily fills a dance floor with its booming power.

Joseph Ray is a member of Grammy award winning trio NERO - 'Inside' is the first in a series of solo releases from Joseph Ray coming this year, that includes a collaborative project with the Haitian band Lakou Mizik.

MELI is a Grammy nominated singer-songwriter and producer, with a burgeoning solo career, whose work has been popping up across multiple genres from hip-hop to EDM.

INSIDE (ft. MELI)

Tale Of Us present a new collaboration with Vaal for the sixth release on their Afterlife label. Three years after they teamed up for ‘Concur’ and began to tour together, the trio return with their most anthemic offering yet. Vaal’s hauntingly-beautiful and instantly-recognisable vocals are the centre-piece on ‘Monument’, building on the style of her Wander To Hell EP (AL002). The drums and shimmering synth lines are moody and uplifting in the way Tale Of Us have made their own, arranged perfectly for the psychedelic breakthrough.

On the flip side, ‘The Hangar’ takes a different approach to equally devastating effect. It pumps with added urgency and a thunderous, steely bassline lunges out from the low-end. Designed for large soundsystems and big rooms, ‘The Hangar’ finds Tale Of Us and Vaal at their most direct and it’s something to behold.

Barnt and Stephan Bodzin, two artists whose stand-out performances at recent Afterlife events have made them firm favourites with the crowds, are tapped for the remixes (AL007). They both take on ‘Monument’, Barnt opting for a rolling, percussive direction and Bodzin more ethereal and transportive.

Widely acclaimed techno pioneer ​Nicole Moudaber ​has delivered the release of her ​'Adoption' ​EP, a two-track production on ​Nicole​'s own ​MOOD ​label which sees the dynamic producer tackle two tracks from one of the most important innovators of dance music since the 90s,​ Moby.

Offering a heavy and grinding feel on her remix of ​Moby​'s 'Mere Anarchy'​, (taken from 2018 album 'Everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt') ​Moudaber packs the mix with haunting melodies, with the subtle use of orchestral sounds adding a hypnotic feel to the release. She goes on to spin a uniquely dark and twisted rework of 'Like a Motherless child', pitching down Moby's vocals to create a deep demonic sound, with both remixes verging into a range of immersive textures.

Nicole's ​MOOD has served as a home for an array of the most ​intriguing productions of recent times since launching 5 years ago, previously hosting names such as ​Carl Craig, ​Alvaro Am, Pan-Pot, Pleasurekraft ​and ​Carl Cox​, who Nicole​ recently collaborated with for her milestone 50th release on the imprint.

Guillaume Coulombel - In Your Mind

After a resoundingly successful first pack of Collecti remixes, Sharam is back with the second installment, and this time it's a Swiss double-header. First up is Zürich-based Animal Trainer, known for their deep and melodic take on techno, who reworked Sharam's 'Napoli' into an entirely new beast. The guys lifted the original's catchy acid riff and wove it into a complex tapestry of beautiful and ethereal melodies. Swirling synth leads and lush pads create a sonic atmosphere that transports listeners to another dimension, one where beauty and darkness coexist peacefully.
