Havoc \ˈha-vək, -vik\ n. 1. Wide and general destruction.

  Hailing from the British South, Cry Havoc are a group of degenerates dead set on conquering the heavy metal scene. Taking inspiration from an array of influences, Cry Havoc have developed a raw, brutish, and unique sound… and are spreading it like Herpes on a tour bus!

  “[Cry Havoc] Churned out a splendidly raw and brutish din”, concludes Metal Hammer reviewer, Dom Lawson after catching their explosive set at Hammerfest III. This was Cry Havoc’s first major festival appearance, and they ensured they did not disappoint the sold out festival crowd. “Frontman Gav is running from one side of the stage to the other, bare-chested and swivel-eyed, and generally going berserk. [They] are treating their performance as if it were a headlining slot at Wembley.” Lawson adds after an aggressive and incendiary performance from the band.

  “This band not only performed with electrifying stage presence, but they killed it. That stage was made for them, and they showed tonight that they were the new owners of London’s stages, and no one is gonna take that away from them quite yet” announces another reviewer, this time after a show in April 2012 at London’s historic and renowned venue; The Borderline. Opening for the Welsh quintet “The Dirty Youth”, Cry Havoc proved that they could hold their own amongst the big guns on the scene. 

  “Frontman Gavin Bolt ran around the stage like a man on fire, climbing on the walls and chairs getting the crowd into gear ready for The Dirty Youth. As the crowd chanted along to ‘Kickin’ It In The Teeth’ with their fists high in the air, guitarist Tristan Gaskell burst into a rippling energetic guitar solo behind his head, showing off every ounce of skill and talent in his bones” Louisa Smith from Hit The Floor Magazine elaborates.

In December 2011 Cry Havoc headed to the renowned Nott-In-Pill studio to record. Working with the prestigious producers Martyn “Ginge” Ford and Matthew Bond, some of the experts behind Bullet For My Valentine, Slipknot, Trivium and Skindred as well as up-and-coming bands, The Dirty Youth and Revoker; Cry Havoc are poised to make an impact in 2012.

Their live shows are an explosion of alcohol fuelled ferocity, and they have been described as the illegitimate child of Pantera and Gun N' Roses. Highly driven on Sex, Jägermeister, and Rock N’ Roll, they own the stage… and no one is going to take it away from them!
