Fifth Nature is the first of a series of albums set in the far distant future. Over centuries, failed technological attempts to restore balance to the Earth have left it blackened and its ecosystems fragile. Its population is divided between the Lemmites who think that further synthetic biological intervention is the answer, and the Atom Priesthood who worship the purity of nature.

As storms rage around her, Cerria, a synbio necromancer communes with spirits to foretell Earth’s fate. Meanwhile, the high priest Atom-Yn sings of the blood moon tetrad and the end of days.

Gradually the vast network of machines that purify the atmosphere and enable life to continue on Earth grind to a halt. Desolation grips both Cerria and Atom-Yn as they try to save their followers. What ensues is the seventh extinction event, one in which both human and all remaining life comes under threat. Unable to survive on Earth any longer, Cerria and Atom-Yn reconcile and with a few brave souls take flight into the further most reaches of space seeking new planets to inhabit.

The stench of decay stand in stark contrast to the awakened mind. We feel throbbing bass one minute, the other surrounded by murmuring crowds. From within them the cough of pestilence echo through halls that never end. 

This is fresh twist on the dark ambient genre and drone music.

A bottle of pills later, your car pulled up outside the old building. The lights were on, struggling to cut through the heavy fog. Distant voices and music lingered like smoke as you entered the lobby. 

Miles to Midnight is a Dark Jazz Ambient album with a Lynchian Noir feel: A hotel trapped between two worlds and a detective with a traumatized past. 

God Body Disconnect's live jazz drums and cinematic wall-of-sound builds the foundation of the mysterious hotel. Cities Last Broadcast brings ghostly tape loops and melodies stuck in time. Atrium Carceri dusts off his old pianos and shatters reality with low bass rumbles and brings you into the other side of the hotel. For lovers of smokey soundtracks to unwritten movies.

Lesa Listvy is back with their Second album on Cryo Chamber. An analogue heavy album with beautiful textures on warm subs.

Behold, the sacred coding of the lapsed Planeteers. They have committed their knowledge to musical intonations, to semblances of intellect in aural constructs, to the language of drones. The Saviour god-ship surface-to-air vessel has been encoded with several encrypted editions of the Preservation Directive. The divine loops of the source materials undergo their perpetual gyrations on the reel-to-reel of their venerable sound bursts. The Covenant of Analogues propels its drone-scripts, the hieroglyphs of the perished few, from the proto-dwellers of the Maxime Cataclysmus. They are the principal invocations of the forgotten, the diagnostic prophecies of the regeneration of the civilised world. The proto-dwellers have projected their immaculate permutations of the sacred message through rifts in time. But it cannot exist without being received by a conscious entity. The Saviour is a voice in the darkness that says: "Absorb our codices. We are the remnants of a lost species. Until you receive us, we are nothing."

For Those Who Were Destroyed

Beyond the Ghost presents his first album in the Europa Series, a futuristic, bleak and moving sound voyage that merges electronics and acoustics.

BERLIN, the year is 2060. The whole of Europe is fraught with sickness and poverty and tensions are arising between the remaining populations.  Resources are low, war is imminent. The streets are cold and lonely.  The shining sun has become a notion of the distant past. Every day feels darker than the next. The people who are left stay locked inside, fearing for their lives. There is nothing left to do but wait out the inevitable doom. An old club called 'The Last Resort' is one of the only places that’s still open. There, a few brave and lonely souls gather together to drink the night away to the woeful tunes of the house band. Between sets, a broken alert system in the streets can still be heard, blasting out remnants of news that don't make sense anymore, like echoes of foreign voices lost in transmission. Against all odds, a few letters of the club's neon light still flicker on and off, illuminating the patrons' faces, their expressions hanging heavy with loss and pain. Few words are exchanged, and yet their devout presence during such times makes us wonder:  will they accept their defeat or will they fight for a better future? But for now, they are only focused on making it safely home after the last call, their heads hung low, their feet shuffling through the darkness, humming to the sounds they just heard, to mourn the loss of one more day during these sorrowful and suspended times.

Recommended for fans of noir, melancholy and molotov cocktails.
