Tsathoggua is an amorphous, toad-like god-creature mentioned in the Pnakotic Manuscripts and the Necronomicon and the Commoriom myth-cycle

Come journey deep into the depths, where long forgotten temples to strange creatures and dark cosmic summons lie unexplored by mortal eyes.

"Emerging from a narcotic slumber, my recollections of the Minions of Ka'arth were a series of fractured episodes of strange, traumatic and thrilling events—the visual impress of obscure memories that may have been dreams, but for the signs I bore of their veracity—a sigil tattooed on my left wrist, some evidence of bladed impregnations—a salient proof of my dark adventure: the fact that it had truly happened.
The setting was one of a subterranean temple situated in a vast interior of hollowed mantle. The natural rockface of the underground formed the larger part of its prodigious walls. So is this a compilation?
No, this is a collaboration and huge undertaking. Over 20 artists linked studios and sound for over a year so that they could work with each other. This led to a deep collaborative exploration of the Mythos and Tsathoggua

The Fog Closing In

God Body Disconnect has become legendary for his masterful approach to expressing dark personal subject matter. Bruce’s 8th solo album “The Weight of Regression” drags us down to the mysterious, brooding pathways of the innermost self. Based on his experiences in psychiatric hospitals, mental illness, and a chaotic past, Bruce serves us a harrowing story dealing with traumas, regrets, and gnawing thoughts of revenge.

I‘m awakened by the slam of the back doors of an ambulance closing. My first instinct is to sit up, but I soon realize I’m strapped down to a gurney surrounded by two cops and a nurse. After a futile struggle to break loose, the nurse’s needle pokes my arm, pulling me back down to the world of slumber.
I’m suddenly awakened again by the slam of the doors, but now I’m outside. Is it day or night? I’m so disoriented from the sedatives I can’t tell. I’m quickly rolled out onto the pavement as misty tears spray down from the gloomy clouds upon my face. With a crooked, upside down view from the gurney, a large Asylum perched upon a hill comes in my sight. They don’t call them Asylums anymore, now they’re referred to as “Psychiatric Hospitals”, however the use of modern semantics doesn’t provide me any comfort as I enter my new home. Once we pass through the sliding doors, the memories all start to come back. I’ve been here before. I can remember roaming the halls for hours, passing by other glassy eyed patients, and impatiently waiting for our next fix of chemical concoctions. I remember my time in “The Quiet Room”, a dreadful place where they feed you with deafening silence. I’m no stranger to hallucinations, but the things you see and hear in there brand a mark in your mind. You can easily become lost in that tiny room.
I can’t tell if I’m here again because the illnesses have simply become too powerful for me to manage, or the anger and turbulent life I once lived have finally caught up with me. Either way, I’ve regressed, and the weight of trying to hold my life together just became too much again.

Dark Ambient Of 2014

3 veteran producers in the genre, Apocryphos, Kammarheit & Atrium Carceri, collaborate on this behemoth of an album. Each utilizing each others strengths to bring forth a dark and emotional ride through distant memories. 

Onyx is a soundscape journey related to the reflection of dispirited memories and obscure sorrows felt by mankind. With the multitude of techniques used by each artist, it also reflects the rich history of the dark ambient genre and how it has progressed through the decades. 

The signature analogue darkness of gargantuan caves of Kammarheit is combined with the sacral and emotional layering of Apocryphos and the rhytmical bass throbbing and isolated pianos of Atrium Carceri. 

This album was created by cross linking 3 studios in Oregon (US), Pennsylvania (US) and Umeå(Sweden). It took over 3800 lines of studio notes to finalize the album.

Svartsinn was asked to contribute a song for the desibel project which is a part of Norway's biggest festival "Øyafestivalen" in 2016. As I was already working on a new album I chose to make a track with a theme that could fit in with the album concept. This is the desibel project version of the song. A slightly different version will appear on the album.  The song image shows the speakers also known as Desibel. (The worlds biggest mobile speakers). Mastered by Simon Heath at Cryo Chamber.

Echoes Of Silent Cries (Jukai)

Hoshin, also know under his alias Esylt, presents us with a soothing ambient music album. Ripe with field recordings of lush forests and damp ancient temples. Layered with mechanical undertones it creates a unique atmosphere. An enlightening voyage to the center of Mysticism. Blackened machines summon dread, while the spiritual world knocks on the door of reality. 

The stench of decay stand in stark contrast to the awakened mind. We feel throbbing bass one minute, the other surrounded by murmuring crowds. From within them the cough of pestilence echo through halls that never end. 

This is fresh twist on the dark ambient genre and drone music.

Council of Nine returns with his third album on Cryo Chamber. 

Trinity is a touching, personal and enlightening album from Maximillian Olivier. In a genre where most keep their personal life to themselves, Maximillian opens his heart for all to see. 

"This is my catharsis. The many stages of grief and the acceptance of loss, deeply personal, unforgiving, cold and painful. This is the story of the greatest loss I have suffered, the death of my mother. This marks the end of a chapter and the closure I was desperately seeking." 

Blending atmospheric sound layering with a harmonic palette it drifts between dark and light. Walls of sound collide with echoing strums, drones wash over endless shores.

Lesa Listvy is back with their Second album on Cryo Chamber. An analogue heavy album with beautiful textures on warm subs.

Behold, the sacred coding of the lapsed Planeteers. They have committed their knowledge to musical intonations, to semblances of intellect in aural constructs, to the language of drones. The Saviour god-ship surface-to-air vessel has been encoded with several encrypted editions of the Preservation Directive. The divine loops of the source materials undergo their perpetual gyrations on the reel-to-reel of their venerable sound bursts. The Covenant of Analogues propels its drone-scripts, the hieroglyphs of the perished few, from the proto-dwellers of the Maxime Cataclysmus. They are the principal invocations of the forgotten, the diagnostic prophecies of the regeneration of the civilised world. The proto-dwellers have projected their immaculate permutations of the sacred message through rifts in time. But it cannot exist without being received by a conscious entity. The Saviour is a voice in the darkness that says: "Absorb our codices. We are the remnants of a lost species. Until you receive us, we are nothing."
