Ideas For Iteration Two:

Layer improvised polyrhythms underneath the soundscape.
Place large piano chords in during the breaks, light distortion, massive reverb.
Let layers reach a climax and transition into a new part.
Keep the beat prominent, allow the piano/synth layers to clash.
Possibly change tempo and tonic during the transition.
Arpeggiated embelishments in the first section during the breaks.
Allow the soundscape mix to drown out the hi-hats somewhat.
Lower the kick volume.
Make the subtle glitch movements more prominent.
Add slight melodic movement under the initial introduction to make it more interesting.
Add some drops.

These tracks are the culmination of my 2 year involvement with Reassembly. They are meant to depict the evolving atmospheres in the game, with tones spanning from danger and loneliness to discovery and wonder. The majority of the collection is ambient, punctuated with high energy tracks.

Parallax Universe

In the high rises of Kiev, Ukraine, the Black Room Studio looms. The smoky base of operations for both the Dronny Darko and ProtoU project. 

Oleg's third solo album on Cryo Chamber is dark and occult. Having more in common with his first album Outer Tehom than his second, Neuroplasticity. 

Massive deep drone builds momentum as reality cracks open to reveal the darkness of the void. The majestic "Spira Igneus" humming in a frequency long forgotten. Lunacy caught form between damp tears and unholy chants. Ancient secrets uttered between clenched teeth in tortured whimper and lingering whispers. 

This is a lovechild of lowercase ambient, minimalist drone and nightmarish dark ambient.
