Hey, I've been recording a commissioned album using my new Ronroco (got it a month ago in Argentina and did my very first recording right [there](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJBdmS7yqtk)) 

Now it's on my studio along with a fellow, old Ronroco I had and a little brother, my charango.

I have to record 5-6 pieces using mostly that instrument with eventual appearances of other instruments and the other two (ronroco+charango).

This prompt gave me the idea of an ambient track, there's this technique of strumming the instrument, widely used on South American folklore, that produces a steady drone, no rhythm just the sustained strumming.

I recorded several tracks of that, along with loads of reverb and delays and some simple arpeggios .

There's a low filtered brass drone (sample libraries) but this is 99% the ronroco droning.

The track started this early after noon is finished now, and it's still day here, so a true day-drone for you.

A shattered man self taught to survive in the harsh world left empty by it's predecessors, only it's mechanical children left behind. The Archives collection is a look into Atrium Carceri's archived audio files from the last 10 years. 

This album was created using audio recorded during 2005-2015 and consists of B-sides, forgotten tapes, tracks that for one reason or the other did not make it onto one of the Atrium Carceri albums, or tracks that were in circulation but needed a remaster. 

All material has since been re-edited , reworked, remastered and merged into two seamless tracks. The Scandinavian recordings of cold meets the post apocalyptic undertones of America as it was worked on in Oregon, USA out of the Cryo Chamber Studio, with material from both countries.

Echo explores mankind's weakness to self destruction. As nature is cyclical so is man's will to destroy. Like a Moth drawn to pulsating light, the painful histories of the past echo with terrifying glee. 

Rumbling drone hits your chest, a smooth contour of bass stroking a distant piano. Subdued humming flows out of Pär's nightly studio into the cold Swedish winter. Across the horizon Robert's angelic choirs boom. The smell of burnt circuits as he cranks his distortion to the melting point within the deep woods of Pennsylvania.

Randal Collier-Ford returns to Cryo Chamber with Advent, a worldbuilding heavy dark industrial sci-fi ambient album with a massive booklet.

"A world separated from natural law, emerged among the forests of South America. Research expeditions had shown the on-site flora and fauna to be mutated from local strains and species, with most, if not all fauna showing aggressive hostility towards expedition personnel. The atmosphere showed rich pockets of methane gases, in addition to unidentified gases composed of elements not yet discovered. This, in turn, has turn the soil black, moist with an acidic agent, yet soft as flesh under the feet.

The distance revealed multiple strange structure, many illuminated by climbing fires. Between these structures, beasts of unknown shapes shift between the oddly colored nature, barking horrible noises in their dark world. Beyond the structures, however, towering shadows stalk the skyline just outside of the light. Titans of absurd shapes, bellowing thunderous calls one could only describe as not of this world.

What sort of world has appeared so suddenly, without warning or cause? These hellish shapes define all understanding of natural order. Why are they here? And what lies among these structures, wherein beating drums shake the earth?"
