Crypthios present us his second album on Cryo Chamber, an electronic fueled textural environment structure like a soundtrack. Finely detailed layers mix with thumping beats and melancholic melodies.

The deserted beach is a stark contrast to the bustling New City you left behind. The warm sand under your feet feels soft and inviting, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore is a soothing background hum. The sun is setting, you feel a sense of calm wash over you, but as you move closer to the strange structures on the horizon, the atmosphere shifts.

The coral-like formations pulsate with an otherworldly energy, spewing seawater out of their orifices. The twisted, almost alien creatures that emerge from them move with a hypnotic grace, their every motion both beautiful and menacing. Their presence fills the air with a sense of foreboding, as if you have stumbled upon something that should remain hidden.

You observe from a distance as the night falls, and the creatures become more active, their movements more erratic. As you sneak closer you step on a small coral and draw their interest as they all turn as one motion. Petrified, a smell of honey and sulphur hits you, the world changes color and shape as dimensions shift, they are showing you something.

I Saw Them as Their Fins Were Splitting the Sky

Ugasanie knows for his freezing desolate soundscapes is back with a new album taking us even further north to explore the concept of the unusual and mysterious phenomenon known as arctic hysteria (also known as menerik and the call of the North Star). It manifests itself only in the polar night, and only when the northern lights shine. Man, as if under hypnosis journeys north. In this state of trance he is almost impossible to stop, he becomes aggressive, sings a song, mumbles, experience hallucinations and persistently continues towards the polar star. It is not uncommon that these people end up freezing or starving to death. 

In track 5 the voice belongs to an old yakutish man. The recording was made during an attack of polar hysteria. This field recording was recorded in a Yakutia group of researchers led by Eduard Alekseev in the 60s.

Field recordings from foggy towns to desolate mountains. Deep space drone and crackling amplifiers combine into a black sky devoid of stars. 

Yog-Sothoth is a cosmic entity and Outer God of the Cthulhu Mythos and the Dream Cycle of H. P. Lovecraft. Born of the Nameless Mist, he is the progenitor of Cthulhu, Hastur the Unspeakable and the ancestor of the Voormi. 

Yog-Sothoth is omniscient, and is locked outside the universe, meaning he knows and can see all of space-time all at once, that there is no secret hidden from Yog-Sothoth.
