LUCK OF MISFORTUNE

Jacob Hulse, born on September 21st 2006, is an up and coming artist from Spokane WA who goes by the name "CRYOUT" or "CRY" for short. Jacob began writing at the early age of only 10 years old, first beginning with stories and poetry. Jacob wrote hundreds of poems up until he was 13 years old, where he discovered his love and passion for music. At first starting with rap and hiphop, Jacob wrote hundreds of songs gettting better and better with his wordplay with each and every song he wrote. Eventually, when Jacob was 15, he began posting his music onto SoundCloud under the name "Cry The Frog" and remained with that name until he was 17, gaining up to 235 followers in the span of a couple years on SoundCloud with his most popular song gaining up to 1.3K plays. Jacob at the age of 16 started distrubuting his music to all platform, gaining up to 12 monthly followers. In 2024, Jacob decided to rebrand entirely to the name "CRYOUT" as he found a new passion for rock and heavy metal, and has been bringing back old school styled hard rock ever since. With his first new official song under the name "CRYOUT" Jacob released his song LUCK OF MISFORTUNE and plans to release much more. Both producing, mastering, composing, performing, and writing all of his own songs, Jacob has no plans to stop making music.
