In the not so distant past, I had a job where I pretty much just microwaved meat and sat on buckets for $9.50 an hour. One day I was really bored so I drove home and grabbed my macbook and some recording equipment and decided to compose a track using sounds from anything I could bang together in the kitchen. After work I went home and added a few synths and gradually mixed together a rough track within that week. I had not touched this beat since late February when the project file mysteriously corrupted after an OS update leaving me with only one mp3 recording that isn't totally screwed up.

Today on one of my few days off, I feel grateful with my current occupation and so much more excited for my future than I was in the past. I listened back on this one mp3 file I had left and decided to polish up what I could and finish it once and for all to share with anyone who cares to listen for two minutes.
