but who's in line to save us
our leaders straight played us
crooked eye politics 
dividing all our races 
these stages afraid it's not the safest
world to raise the youth
but then who's in line to change it?

text book altercations
absent of the backbone 
now we're hiding in safe spaces
triggered but the truth that
the youth well they can't face it
beat around the bush so as to not to melt their faces
overwhelmed abases
PC courts and cases 
no more tough skins and scrapes
just occupying places
relations sinking by the day
underway let's face it
this direction that we're heading 
in this world 
i hate it
can't we see what's happening here 
we're being baited 
hook line and sinker in this government equation
power to the people well then let's rise up and take it
not riot in the streets and perpetuate the hatred 
this manipulation of the news channels change it
believe nothing heard until the facts have been stated 
dictated by the media rules just how we take it
drama queens in high school really nothing changes
town criers in the quad it's the fools who relay it 
misconstrued 
guilty of this  telephone game
cause we all play it

This is one of the first rap songs I ever created when I started recording back in 2012 and sadly this song is even more so relevant today... come on people.

hate
what is hate?
hate is what you feel for yourself
but project it on to someone else
hate
because you'll never change
play the roll of the victim
when you're the one to perpetrate 
change
is an action that you feel inside
it comes with the maturation 
change is when you realize
that you can be a better person
as your life unfurls 
if everyone felt this way
then we can change the world


peace
peace is something that will never have
division with the
kids growing up without their dads
moms with addictions
parents who raise their kids
with way too much conviction
re-seam the stitches
cleanse the wound
eradicate this hate
envision life in someone else's shoes
no stealing off of others plates

time
time can mend 
but at the same time time can bend
and when you bend too far
its sure to break and end

break  is what we have
set it right
lets fix mistakes
mistakes
something we're sure to make
historical ambivalence
ignore the past then we're destined
set to bath in its equivalence 
we'll never have
equality
define the word
no balance in this act
when the poverty defines world
it's pinned
pegged as a technicality
terms politically defined by the bipolar of financial greed
what is greed
it's hard to doubt
you may not have it all
but you're all still living with your hands out

its not the money
cant build a better house
with the materials of earth
but the foundations of your heart and mouth 
be the change
self reflect
do unto others
with the same respect 
 as you or any human would expect 

respect
what is respect
demands don't meet the needs
when our lucid dreams
are devised of money power greed
we lose the insight
incite the riot fights
respect is earned
not bought
no longer
earned just only sought

with the power of ones mind
the the brains only as strong
as the will of you as man kind
