The Basilisk is known as the King of the Serpents. It is said they are created when the egg of a serpent is hatched by a cockerel (The opposite transformation of the Cockatrice). The sizes they can reach have been up for debate, but medieval bestiaries record its length to be about 4 1/2ft. It is so powerful that it can kill you with a single glance. But even if you don’t look it in the eye, it can still leave you frozen in place until it can get closer to make use of its highly powerful venom. Your best bet for protection against the Basilisk is carrying a Pocket Weasel®, as they hate the smell. Similar results may be achieved without a weasel by going to a 3-day music festival.

The Squonk is a pig-sized creature out of The Hemlock Forest in Pennsylvania, with loose, wort-covered skin. It is said that this cryptid spends most of its time in isolation and crying due to being self-conscious of its own appearance. Attempts to catch this creature have proven unsuccessful; because upon capture, the creature will cry SO much that it dissolves into a pool of tears. So, if you encounter a Squonk in the wild, leave that poor bastard alone. He's dealing with a lot right now.

The Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus is an amphibious octopus living predominately in the Olympic National Forest and its surrounding rivers. This species spends most of its early life in the water, where it lays its eggs, and then migrates to land in search of food & shelter. It is at high risk of becoming extinct due to deforestation and natural predators, such as eagles and sasquatch.

"Ogopogo” is the 50 foot long, serpent-like, lake monster inhabiting Okanagan Lake in British Columbia, Canada.  While it's possible Ogopogo could be a primitive beast, natives called the creature “Naitaka” meaning lake demon. It is theorized that Ogopogo lives in a cave towards the bottom of the lake, only coming out to hunt for food and new music releases.
