Kosh exploded onto the electro scene in 2018 with his debut release ‘Null 212’ on Casa Voyager records. The track that received the most attention was ‘Catch The Train’ with it’s faultless modern take on classic Detroit electro reminiscent of Cybotron and Aux 88.  It became a big track for 20/20 Vision founder Ralph Lawson who quickly invited Kosh to record for the label.

Kosh - ‘Vicious Love’ is a diverse 4 track EP showing off the Moroccan producers faultless production skills with the A-side featuring ‘An Arab in Space’ that continues to bring the classic sound of Detroit right up to date while title track ‘Vicious Love’ pushes into new territories, incorporating acid tinged synths, vocoded vocals and an insistent fast paced bassline. On the flip side ‘She Gets Mad’ is a straight up dance floor filler from the school of Casablanca while ‘Headache’ is precisely the opposite experience from the title with a relaxed, lush jam that oozes Larry Heard influences.

Versalife’s second release for 20/20 Vision sees Dutch producer Boris Bunnik aka Conforce return with another slab of signature electro.

The track selected by @DVSNME to premiere is the second track of this 4-track EP. ‘Aegis’ delivers a double dose of mechanical funk, played over atmospheric strings and auditory acid delights. This entire EP is quite the work by the veteran producer. The vinyl release will become available on October 14th.

For this new Premiere, we have a track by the German producer Dibu-Z from the upcoming fantastic Album "Junk DNA" [DE-029] on the German Label : Dominance Electricity.

Dominance Electricity, the East Germany based record label delivers syncopated-beat-Electro, ranging from classicist Electrofunk, TR-808  driven ElectroBass to German Technobreaks and deep ambient Electro, since the year 1996. 

The track we have chosen to premiere is entitled ‘Kabelschmelze’ and it will be available from November 15th, 2019 here :

Dibu-Z : "Hmm, what can I say about Kabelschmelze...
Probably my personal favourite on the album.
It means something like "cable meltdown" and I hope the title says it all. 
Lots of analog synths used as usual and I guess it was 100% done with hardware, except for software in the mixdown process:
Arp Odyssey, TTSH Mini Meanie, Roland Juno-60, Siel Opera 6, MacBeth Elements, Roland TR-8, Acidlab Drumatix and lots of effects and pedals. 
This is actually a rather simple track and I think it was done releatively quick. But there is something special to this track which seperates it from my others and I´m still pretty hyped about it."

'Clandestine Development’ serves up dark tones and melodies layered within insistent electro beats and growling bass, that sounds huge on big room systems. ‘Aegis’ delivers a double dose of mechanical funk, played over atmospheric strings and auditory acid delights. 

On the B side ‘Lamba’ continues to impress with a moody laidback bass line holding the groove down over a solid rhythm & dystopian keys. Wrapping things up the title track 'Asimov's Code' plays out like war drums from space pounding away after a blissful intro of building synths.
