CoinMarketCap’s Molly Jane Zuckerman joins Connor for a light-hearted look at this week’s crypto headlines.

We begin with Elon Musk, who has declared that he believes banning cryptocurrency is impossible.

Plus, we delve into the weird and wonderful world of meme NFTs. After Disaster Girl and Charlie Bit My Finger sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars, a tokenised version of Side Eyeing Chloe has sold for 25 ETH — about $78,000. So… why are old viral sensations from years ago suddenly experiencing a renaissance? 

And last but by no means least, a hamster is taking the world by storm. Mr Goxx trades cryptocurrencies by running in his wheel. He’s quite good at it too — at one point, he was outperforming Warren Buffett, the FTSE 100 and the Dow.

Episode 17 - November 19 - Bitcoin bloodbath, is bull run over, massive crypto donation

Bitcoin has suffered a brutal correction since hitting all-time highs of $69,000 on Nov. 10.

The world's biggest cryptocurrency sunk to lows of $59,000 on Tuesday — and showed weakness as it traded in a tight range.

Friday subsequently saw a further plunge to $55,700. Indeed, some analysts had predicted that a further correction was on the horizon.

Two analysts — DailyFX’s Nick Cawley and Cryptocademy’s Justin Bennett — join Connor to discuss how low Bitcoin can go… and whether this pullback means the bull run is over.

A group of American investors who call themselves WAGMI United has revealed that it wants to buy an English football club.

They've set their sights on Bradford City — a League Two team based in Yorkshire.

WAGMI United wants NFTs to be a major revenue stream for the club — and plans to outspend rivals to ensure the team can rise through the rankings and enter England's top tier of football, the Premier League.

Our guest is Simon Parker, the chief sports writer at Bradford's Telegraph and Argus newspaper. He's been covering the club for 21 years — and explains why he, and a number of fans, are against the takeover.

Episode 27 - February 4 - BTC bounce, NFT hatred, Meta bloodbath, India avoids crypto ban
