The neon lights of the sprawling coastal megacity flickered to life as dusk fell, illuminating the sky with electric colors. A crew of friends, clad in sleek, high-tech gear, gathered at a hidden, neon-lit beach, far from the prying eyes of corporate drones and surveillance cameras.

As the rhythmic beats of synthesized music pulsed through the air, the friends danced on the metallic sand, their holographic tattoos glowing in sync with the music. Drones hovered above, capturing every moment of their celebration while delivering refreshing cyber-cocktails.

Bonfires fueled by bio-luminescent algae cast an eerie, mesmerizing light. They huddled around, swapping tales of their latest exploits in the city's underbelly, toasting with vials of neon-colored liquids that promised enhanced senses and vivid dreams.

A street artist strummed a sleek electric guitar, the haunting melodies intertwining with the distant hum of the city's skyline. Couples shared fleeting moments under the stars, their augmented reality visors blending the real with the digital, creating scenes of unparalleled beauty.

As the night deepened, fireworks—controlled by a hacker friend—lit up the sky with intricate, pixel-perfect patterns. The friends, a motley crew of hackers, mercenaries, and dreamers, reveled in their temporary escape from the neon-lit labyrinth of their lives.

When dawn approached, the first light of day touched the horizon, signaling the end of their cybernetic soirée. With hearts full of memories and the promise of more adventures, they packed up their gear and vanished into the urban jungle, leaving behind only digital traces and the echoes of their laughter.

And so, the seaside returned to its usual state, the neon lights fading as the city awoke, holding the secrets of a night where reality and cyberspace collided in a symphony of color and sound.

Debut DJ Set at Escobar Koh Tao – A Journey of Sound, Soul & Unity

My debut live DJ set at Escobar Koh Tao was far more than just a performance, it was a spiritual homecoming, a sacred exchange of energy through rhythm and sound. Nestled deep in the heart of the island’s lush jungle, surrounded by towering palms and the gentle whispers of the tropical ocean breeze, Escobar is a TEMPLE of MUSIC unlike any other. With five stages radiating different frequencies, I was honoured to take the reins of the underground electronic techno stage during peak hours, a space where the raw, pulsing heartbeat of the earth met the infinite sky.

From the moment I arrived, carried by boat across glowing waters, there was a feeling of stepping into something timeless, as though the jungle itself was alive and listening. As I took to the decks, I felt the energy shift, not just within me, but within the crowd. Dancers from every corner of the globe moved together, not as strangers, but as one living organism connected by sound, breath and vibration. There were no borders, no language, only rhythm and the collective heartbeat of the dancefloor.

This experience was the beginning of a beautiful journey, guided by the kind invitation of Noom, the visionary soul behind Escobar. His openness and passion have made each return to this sacred space a gift, a chance to reconnect with something deeper, both within and beyond myself.

That night reminded me of the true power of music, to heal, to unify and to awaken. I carry the spirit of that set with me always, as a reminder that the dancefloor is more than a place, it’s a magic portal.

Today, my energy flows through the hypnotic pulses of techno and house, but the foundation was laid deep in the 90s, a golden age of hip-hop steeped in California's rich cultural mosaic. What fuels it all? Community. Whether you're an artist, an explorer, or simply driven by curiosity, you're welcome here. Passion is the only credential. In the vibrant heart of West Alameda, California, amid the buzz of Buena Vista, a young Latino named Jess Pulgarian—nicknamed “Breeze” by his crew—grew up tuned to the rhythms of his surroundings. The streets sang in acid techno beats, hyphy hip-hop anthems, and whispers from the underground. They didn’t just play music—they became music.

Jess didn’t chase music. Music chose him. He remixed his environment, turning salvaged electronics into beat machines, blending hip-hop storytelling with futuristic synths until he birthed a sound that was utterly original. This love for tech and tunes fused into cyberpunk hip-hop—a collision of urban grit and sci-fi sonics.

Through tough times and long nights, he stayed locked in. Odd jobs, scraped savings, and a second-hand laptop kicked off what would become an underground rise. As “Glazzes,” he electrified late-night sets in raw club spaces, spreading his sound across SoundCloud and TikTok. His tracks hit with rawness and finesse—and listeners took note.

But fame brought new trials: the need to evolve, the dance between creativity and industry pressure. Jess never wavered. Change was a catalyst, not a compromise. Through collaboration and fearless experimentation, he kept building.

Now known as “Bionix,” Jess continues to redefine boundaries. He’s built a career rooted in sonic innovation and community impact—supporting his family, uplifting others, and refining the beat every step of the way. His next goal? Launch workshops in Alameda that pass on his journey to rising creatives.
