Between body and soul, there’s a thread. A thread of patience, faith.
The soul knows, the body wants.
In this slow mix, I alternate between giving in to my body’s urges and my soul’s longing. Should I be c*nt? Should I be a hermit? Should I be both? None?
I realized afterwards it was my mind that was inhibiting me, my mind that was drawing the boundary between body and soul, that was preventing me from reaping the wisdom of both.
The soul needs you to embody what it knows. Otherwise you’re still nowhere. You’re in your mind. Body and soul are soulful, body and soul are bodily.

Like the others there is a rhythmic and harmonic foundation of brass staccatos and double bass pizzicatos with a smattering of other melody instruments overlaid on top. (See below for full instrument list.)

Prêt pour la deuxième partie de RAPZA ? Ca se passe toujours avec Hajer, créatrice de Vintage Arab, et Bachir, dj rap, journaliste pour  l'Abcdr du son et moitié du duo Toukadime sur le patrimoine musical maghrébin.  On reprends la 504 pour continuer à explorer les samples de musiques arabes dans le rap à travers quelques exemples éloquents. Et comme la première fois, on accordera autant d'importance à la chanson samplée qu'au son rap à laquelle elle aura contribuée. 
Cette fois l'épisode est résolument plus tourné vers le Maghreb, et disons le franchement, vers l'Algérie. De Oran à Marseille, de 113 à Wahbi en passant par l'évocation de grands noms comme Mister You, Cheikha Rimitti, Cheb Hasni, DJ Mehdi... On vous offre une exploration des chansons et lieux phares des deux rives de la Méditerranée. 
Et promis cette fois vous allez l'entendre "Tonton du Bled" ! Car cet épisode est assurément à la sauce algérienne !
