Love is an emotional capacity without boundaries. It is the inherent beauty of life and light, flowing from within our body and mind. The alchemy of intimacy and devotion helps us to ascend from darkness, filling our soul with a clear radiant energy. Like a beaming star, our compassion and affection heal us by releasing our trauma in katharsis.

The compilation “No Limits, All Love” is the 12th release of katharsis, celebrating our first anniversary with 10 poignant tracks from artists novel to the label. With the title as a thematic starting point and additional references of gratitude, healing and growth, the contributing artists were invited to interpret their experiences of kathartic purgation and salvation through music.

To commence the compilation, the Egyptian Ma3azef-affiliated artist ABADIR engages us with his spellbinding track “Clearance”, before the British sound-designer Phrixus gets our bodies moving to his wonky “Unintentional Alchemy”. Debuting local Danish artist Bloszum takes the pace down again with the hypnotizing piano-infused hymn, “Beauty Is Only Crystal Deep”, followed by the daybreaking floater “Flamma” by Uruguayan artist Balas De Agua.

Subsequently, French producer Zero Crossing Point delivers a stellar spectrum of emotion on “Our Ascension” ahead of the sentimental receptacle of heartbreak on the track “Vesper” by French artist Awbluu. The energy dives deep into the trancelike state of our subliminal mind on Nexcyia’s “wrapped(up)”, as danish duo J Sliwa, consisting of label founder jjjacob and his partner in crime Lighyer, shoots for the stars with celestial cannons on the track “Light Is Within”. The compilation culminates in climax on the motivational rave-anthem “Don’t Be Sad” by the Swedish YEAR0001-affiliated duo Quit Life, before Santebela closes the album with grandiose piano phrases bathed in reverb on “save me”.

"Alive In The Living Room - The Remixes" constitutes the second phase of the release "Alive in the Living Room - على قيد الحياة في غرفة القعدة" by Richie Culver. In contrast to the original piece, where vocals were intentionally absent, simulating a state of sleep paralysis, and the lyrics confined solely to the written page, they find their voice in this rendition. Additionally, the sound mass comes to life in two distinct remixes crafted by Pessimist and bod [包家巷].

Pessimist, hailing from Bristol, is a prominent artist known for one of the most recognisable sounds in electronic music. Drawing inspiration from the darker side of sound, Pessimist' body-numbing rhythm and wicked percussion are underpinned with a physical and cerebral swing. Pessimist's self-titled debut album on Blackest Ever Black showcased his non-conformist vision, earning acclaim and essentially creating a new genre of d’n’b situated within this noir.

bod [包家巷] is an audiovisual artist from Tucson that is currently based in Berlin. Their work has detailed habitation against annihilating solipsism in search of emotional connections beyond discourses of trauma/memory. Their current, self-released works face the same topics and challenges via the maintenance and critical evaluation of self in an ever more individualistic and atomized environment.

Musician and visual artist Nicola Tirabasso (VISIO), together with Haunter founders Daniele Guerrini and Francesco Birsa Alessandri called for a collective effort in order to celebrate these elements of experience. In opposition to linear notions of time itself. An attempt to let perceptions of future and past bleed together, to establish every moment as an infinite process of consumption and re-generation. A compilation of 33 artists, each contributing in their own peculiar style, adding their own blends to the palette and exposing the lineage of their work. It is precisely to state that the perennial immanence of difference is what constitutes the basis for true unity, that the curators have grouped an utterly diverse cast of contributors, whose output strikes a vastity of moods and textures, and grows out of very distinct intentionalities and backgrounds. Making kin without borders, letting mutual support evolve into a chimeric infinity.
