We love Ibiza in every sense. The beautiful beaches, the amazing food, the magical sunsets, and of course, the most important thing, that connects all of us paying a visit to the White Isle: music.

We are beyond excited to welcome in the Truesounds Music family Prymate, resident DJ of Ushuaïa Beach Club Ibiza and the legendary Ants parties. This EP is another important milestone in our journey and we are extremely proud to have the chance to work with such talents.

Clean, detailed, quality tunes. Sexy grooves, catchy melodies. All 4 tracks are contemporary but still different from what you usually find in these genres. You cannot really compare these tunes to any other and that is exactly why we were so excited about them and decided to release.

The track names pretty much describe what to expect, but let us warn you: they are addictive.

Twirl returns with a luscious offering from Barcelona’s nightlife stalwart Baldo, featuring the inimitable (and Twirl staple) Josh Caffe. The duo pair up for ‘Mind Games’, a classic Chicago style house burner reminiscent of the great Finger’s, Inc. 
The Original Mix of ‘Mind Games’ whirls and enraptures with its smooth percussive elements, slick pads, and well-paced arrangement. Caffe’s lush vocals heighten the seduction as he weaves nimbly around the track with his sultry timbre. 
The Breaks Mix ventures into the mystique of the rave, adding more muscular drums and bringing the beefy bassline to the forefront. Caffe’s vocals still hold firmly in the center, winding flirtatiously around the pumping track. If the Original Mix is suitable to bring you into the night, the Breaks Version is perfect for diving further into its depths.
Longtime Twirl family member Hannah Holland flips the track into a pulsating banger for her remix. With chopped up vocals, a driving acid bassline, jackin’ percussion, and twisted pads from the Original Mix, Holland creates a monster of a track that deftly straddles the line between house and techno.
Industry veteran The Checkup rounds out the package with his energetic, house stomper of a remix. Caffe’s vocals are highlighted, adding a punchier, stuttering kick, extrapolated synth pads and stabbing, moody organ. It is a delightful turn that’s sure to ignite the finest of dancefloors.

If truth be told, we’ve been pestering James’ Made By Pete’ Edwards to create his own EP for Selador ever since he first appeared on the label last summer on remix duties for Dee Montero’s ‘Fade Into Noir’, so naturally we’re pleased as punch to be charged with the guardianship of this fantastic release. 

The burgeoning producer has been taking giant strides over the past few years with releases for such esteemed labels as Crosstown Rebels, Yoshitoshi, Radiant and Gruuv and with his newly built studio now fully operational, 2020 is shaping up to be his most prolific yet.  

Here he delivers 3 tracks of equally high calibre, each providing a different twist on the Made By Pete sound. For the title track, the vocal talents of Simon Jinadu are enlisted, who turns in a spellbinding performance that succeeds in full-blown listener entrapment, such is its seductive charm. Sheer,  timeless class all round. 

Next, ‘Sierra’ brings a more present-day feel to proceedings with a glitchy melody and tight tribal rhythms flaunting its finger-on-the-pulse credentials. And finally, the Afro flavours come further to the fore in ‘Rhythm Fabric’, a carefully woven percussive tapestry that delivers in spades.
