Bpms a mucha velocidad, hoovers, breaks, voces que aparecen y desaparecen, y una excepcional “sensibilidad hardcore” dan cuerpo a este mix que produce una biografía sonora del techno más rápido y revive y avanza el delirio rítmico de tantas pistas de baile desde los años 90.

Danielle Lulu Rahal aka Lolsnake is is a Berlin-based, Iraqi-American artist.  
She is known for founding and running the queer party series Weeeirdos in Berlin back in 2017. 
As a DJ she will go from hypnotic techno, to harder sounds, and into trance.  Gliding through genres is one of her skills combining new and old school gems in her mixes. 
Lolsnake has performed regularly around berlin and parts of Europe including Tresor in Berlin, ∄ Kyiv, and others. She will soon release her first 4 track EP on the upcoming Weeeirdos label.

Let's get into to da groove of a new week when wyfe material brings us a driving techno mix telling us a tale of post-summer mystique!

"Summer is over, the temperatures are dropping and the bright days are getting shorter. This seasonal change puts me in a mystical mood, which makes me feel drawn back to hard driving techno music in dark concrete rooms.

In preparation for this mix, I closed my eyes and reviewed the summer once again. There are many thoughts, memories, emotions and noises flashing around in my head and I am trying to sort them out and put them into a structure. And before I realise what is happening around me, one thing at least is certain: I am already in a state of flux, in between all this and nothing of this.

This mix is an ode for everything in between, It stands for constant and change, reality and fantasy, joy and sadness, for lovers and haters, endings and beginnings. I love to experiment with contrasts. Wandering back and forth between colorful and dark sound elements, and yet following a uniform groovy structure at the base.

Be ready for this seasonal windy mix, it will mesmerize you, hit you suddenly and leave you confused. It’s a story of a short eternity or a long moment, a lived experience or just an imaginative thought. An interpretation for so many situations. Like an autumnal sunny-rainy day in Berlin. Or just a flirt with you on the dance floor. Call it what you want.

wyfe material, a Berlin-based DJ, started mixing during the summer of 2019 after seeing her fav DJ Anetha play an energetic and fun set at a festival. Seeing those smiling faces and sweaty bodies on the dance floor was a good inspiration, which instantly made her think: „Hey, I also want to create such a vibe as a DJ!“ Her mixes are created with the intention of storytelling. A polite way of being cheeky and serious at the same time. Characterised by playful hypnotic sounds that revolve around driving groovy and bouncy beats.

Never Sleep present Paula Temple 'Live from the Mill".

Recorded live in the UK's oldest rave capital Preston in the beautiful summer of 1995. One of Paula Temple's earliest gigs, this mix was recorded at a rave in Preston 27 years ago when she was 18 years old.

Vinyl only at the time, this mixtape embodies the style she is consistently known for, a mix of raw relentless techno and rave.
In 1995 making mixtapes was the only way to go, so Paula would make mixtapes to give to her friends at clubs around the North of England such as Bugged Out (Manchester), The Orbit (Morley) and Voodoo (Liverpool).

Paula submitted this mixtape to MUZIK magazine to spend a day with techno artist Dave Angel.
Triumphantly she spent the day with Dave in his studio, was featured in the magazine and was just a young girl chasing her dream.

When we asked for this possible collaboration she dug deep and found a forgotten tape from long ago that had been lost but recently found, Archivio has brought it back to life for you to hear the younger Paula Temple's passion for the underground.

All proceeds go the amazing www.womenonweb.org charity which supports women rights across the globe and provides abortion care for the most in need.

We are truly honored to put out a small testament in time and help those in the future.

Knife presenta a Viscerale, nacida en Hamburgo y con sede en Berlín desde 2011, tiene un fondo clásico en piano y encontró su pasión por seleccionar la música adecuada desde que era joven. Ella descubrió la pista de baile en su adolescencia tardía, pero Le llevó muchos años encontrar su verdadera pasión.

She already made her debuts in several countries including the US, played few times for the infamous Party“ Herrensauna” and supported showcases of the Label “Instruments of Discipline”. 

Since April 2019, Viscerale belongs to the Label/Agency "Another Name" of the Club Ved Siden Af in Copenhagen, the city of her musical inspiration, which also makes her a resident there.

Driven by strong emotions and moved by fast, hypnotic & disturbing sounds, her sets are influenced by melodic, dark, rhythmic and Industrial Techno and usually transforminto early 90’s Gabber and Hard Trance. 140 bpm upwards is definitely her comfortzone, always seeking high energy levels in a playful way.
