Day Ones

C The Great is an American Hip-Hop artist born in Indiana, Indianapolis. He was raised
on the Eastside of the town but kept close ties with all sides of Indiana, and is
considered Naptown’s finest when it comes to Hip-Hop. His passion for music and
Hip-Hop started at an early age as a huge fan of the golden era pioneers like Tupac
and Jay-Z. He started writing and rapping at a young age and would write down lyrics
while sitting in middle school classes and drop the lines he had just written as soon as
the bell rang in rap battles with his friends.
His friends and family gave him the name C The Great, a perfect representation of his
authenticity, always staying true to himself. C The Great also drives his inspiration
from MCs of the current generation like Migos and Drake. He is both a recording and a
performing artist, and especially enjoys performing as the last stage of his creative
process, to share his music with the crowds, and witness their reactions.
His music is a great representation of Midwest Hip-Hop music, blending east coast
lyricism with the west coast feel and deliveries, and is set to be enjoyed by large
audiences with its commercial and underground crossover appeal. He also excels at
creating different concepts, melodies, and flows to produce unique tracks. He is
currently releasing several tracks and music videos, as well as performing locally in
Indianapolis’ blazing hot music scene, and touring nationally to reach his audiences
and gain a massive fan base. His unique perspective in today’s music industry
separates him from other rappers, giving him all the weapons he needs to cement his
rise as a Hip-Hop prodigy.
