Dâdalus & Bikarus are Benedikt Merz (Vox, Synths, Electronics) & David Hänni (Bass, Electronics).

'Off the Shelf' is the latest work by Dâdalus & Bikarus. Seven tracks driven by the exploration into analog machines and hyperrealistic sound collages. Holding back to the roots of the project, their sound approach features krautrock repetition, trip hop rhythms and punk territories.

The album was created around moments of personal transformation into a world of mystical meaning.

This month, Constructive presents mixes by London’s DJ ojo and Tokyo’s DJ Trystero,  artist whose remixes will be released by the label in the coming months.

 DJ ojo who has released music for the ‘trademark nether zone system’ on Blank Mind, Tongue Tied and Oneiric  and has been described by Boomkat as making music 'ripe for early club hours and later sprawled on the rug.’

An enigmatic operator from the fogged-out fringes of techno, DJ Trystero has quickly impressed with a brief slew of releases for Incienso and The Trilogy Tapes. His reductionist style narrates bygone eras in abstracted flow, a singular sound cultivated with an assured touch. He also runs the cult City-St. Giga label out of Tokyo.

Entre l’officiel et l’officieux, la frontière est mince. Chez CTL!, c’est une question de lettres et de temps. Officieusement, le collectif est né le 27 juillet 2012 à travers l’organisation d’une célébration gratuite joyeusement baptisée CRISTAL, premier geste du mouvement. 

[EN] Between the official and unofficial, the border is thin. At CTL!, it's a matter of letters and time. Unofficially, the collective was born July 27, 2012 with the organization of a free celebration cheerfully called CRISTAL, first gesture of the movement.

Ces fêtes, à destination de ceux qui en ont vent, ont permis à ses créateurs de se réunir autour d’un projet commun qui, depuis la naissance officielle de l’association en mai 2014, lie musiques électroniques et différentes formes de créations artistiques contemporaines. 

[EN] These parties, destined for those who get wind of, impulsed its creators to come together around a common project that, since the official birth of the association in May 2014, combines electronic music and different forms of contemporary art.

Ainsi se croisent, se heurtent et s’assemblent les idées d’une vingtaine de personnes venant de divers horizons et cultivant instinctivement leurs différences. Cette pluralité des univers permet le déploiement de festivités en tous genres : “La fête, la musique, les hangars, les clubs, et toujours la tôle froissée. Mode avion obligatoire.” assure la devise. 

[EN] Thus ideas, from around twenty people from various backgrounds and instinctively cultivating their differences, intersect, collide and gather. This multiplicity of universes enables deployment of festivities of all kinds and the manifesto says “The party, music, warehouses, clubs, and always the crumpled metal. Airplane mode mandatory.”
