Musicians are exploring new sounds and creative processes with generative machine learning. In a world of easy fast food AI music apps, trve kvlt music hackers take on the arduous path of building, training, and breaking their own neural nets. If this is you, this talk will start your journey.

Dadabots highlight a decade of their underground experimentation with neural synthesis, from numpy and RNNs to diffusion, alongside 24/7 live streams of infinite death metal, legendary artist collaborations, human vs AI beatbox battles, machines that invent new genres, prompt jockeying as a live music format, open source AI, and more.

CTM 2025: Hack Your Own Music AI

Bubbling, explosive, and full of unexpected twists, Efervescente, the new EP by Nuevo Prohibido @nuevoprohibido on the forward thinking label C.T.M @ce_t_m based in Ecuador , is a whirlwind of sonic emotions. Between jolts of baile funk, pulsating gqom, Latin bass grooves, and bursts of reggaeton, each track is a surge of energy designed for a limitless dancefloor. The Swiss-Mexican artist, now based in the great Tenochtitlán, crafts a universe where chaos and precision coexist in perfect harmony.
The journey kicks off with Trancazo, a direct hit to the body—raw, electrifying, and relentless, an anthem for ravers craving pure intensity. Gato Pantheon keeps the fire burning with its deep Latin bass groove, pushing the genre’s tradition to new heights. Then comes Baile Ridículo, twisting and mutating in a frenetic progression, leaping from tripped-out dubstep into absolute ecstasy, unlocking portals to the unexpected with every drop.
The closing track is a hungry dream—an electrifying production in collaboration with Swiss-Peruvian DJ Edman @_edu.cation, whose label Edu.tainment serves as a playground for cutting-edge sounds. Together, they take the effervescence of the EP to its extreme, leaving the listener floating in a vibrant delirium somewhere between a dark and feverish dream.

Anti Ribeiro, de Sergipe (Brasil), es una investigadora sonora cuyas composiciones se han presentado en la Bienal de Venecia y en el Serpentine Pavilion de Londres. Como DJ, crea sesiones envolventes que desafían los géneros y se basan en frecuencias graves profundas que resuenan en el cuerpo y despiertan el subconsciente. Inspirándose en estilos como el house, jungle,
baile funk y breakbeat, sus actuaciones son viajes sónicos impredecibles que alteran y reconfiguran la pista de baile.

“Kolasi Night Club” captures the hazy intensity of a Balkan night - where cheap liquor, sweat, and cigarette smoke mix under red and blue lights. With a dark, hypnotic lead riding a reggaeton rhythm, it evokes the chaos and charm of late-night bouzoukia night clubs. Creative Process desc.

kvadosh works by combining raw, folkloric elements with modern electronic frameworks— especially low-end-heavy rhythms, re-imagining them through club-oriented structures. Each track is built as a scene, often mixing the sentimental with the gritty, and the familiar with the unexpected.

Memory Index 3035 is part of an ongoing series of sonic explorations that will eventually become an EP. In this piece, I continue to delve into the psychoacoustics of noise modulated by rhythm, and how this tension creates a perceptual need for melody. What fascinates me most is that these melodies don’t actually exist — they emerge from each listener’s unique auditory universe, built through personal memory and perception.

Microhm is the experimental electronic music project of Mexican artist Leslie García. Her work fuses electroacoustic and electronics, with avant-garde sound design, creating immersive compositions that explore rhythm, distortion, and psychoacoustics. With releases on labels like Infinite Machine and Terminal, Microhm has carved out a distinct voice in the experimental club scene. Her performances and DJ sets blend emotional intensity with conceptual depth, offering deep sonic experiences. Microhm is a laboratory of sound where technology, affect, and speculation converge.
