Meet Anthony Lee, a 23-year-old visionary behind the night psy project called Blether. Back in 2018, he dove headfirst into the captivating world of Cape Town's psychedelic culture, and it didn't take long for him to become enamored with it. Fuelled by his love for the scene, Anthony decided to channel his passion into the studio, where he could bring his musical ideas to life. As time went on, Anthony found himself increasingly drawn to the allure of the night time sound. It was within these dark, nocturnal soundscapes that he discovered a creative sanctuary, free from the constraints of traditional musical structures. When you listen to Blether's music, you'll notice a distinctive focus on the glitchy and digital aspects of classic night psy. Anthony's sound design is meticulous, crafting intricate and stimulating sonic experiences that captivate listeners. His tracks are fueled by an abundance of energy, driven by mind-bending basslines that dance and twist with a touch of lunacy. As the layers of sound intertwine, chaos and order collide, creating a sonorous journey that pushes the boundaries of imagination.
