Since starting his career off to a flying start in 2001 on high end labels Treibstoff and Hypercolou hes just continued to cement himself as a top artist in the Underground 

Kerouac is also part of the production/DJ partnership Kerouac & SMILE and have had releases on Blind Vision, Hedzup, Surge, Indeep, Floorpiece, Music Related, Haas and many more with gigs at the likes Fabric

In 2019 Kerouac began a new project with Adam Ross, KRS Two. Making tracks with a more raw sounding edge, with a string of eps on Rawax, Pursim, Hossh and Music Related

You can hear their music championed by the likes of Fabe, Toman, Michael James, and most of the Slap Funk crew.

Reece is a Yorkshire born, Cornwall based house music DJ and producer who has been making music since 2007

Whilst he started out making 90’s inspired tracks in his early days, Reece now loves to produce disco house tracks, reworks and edits, drawing influence from the early labels such as Roule Records and Crydamour, to more recent labels such as Razor-NTape, Toy Tonics and Pomme Frite

Artists that inspire Reece include Adryiano, Phil Weeks, COEO, A/P and lots more

The last few years have seen Reece release music on some prolific and well-respected labels in the industry. Reece has released with Robsoul Recordings, Lumberjacks in Hell and more recently Tropical Disco Records, Midnight Riot and Pomme Frite to name a few

A DJ since 1994, Louis still loves to play vinyl as his preferred medium across three decks. He’s a true adaptive selector who focuses on the more credible side of electronic music. He’s equally happy playing the first set and warming up a crowd,  as much as he is playing a peak time slot. From playing the first ever record at North Wales’s premier night, Manipulate_, which was back in 2003. he is still considered as the go to trusted resident to this day. Other residencies over the years have included Assemble in Leeds at the infamous Mint Club, and a nights called Surreal and Menu in North Wales.  Over the years he has warmed up some of the best DJ’s on the planet including Sasha, Steve Lawler, Phil Weeks, Kink and Yousef to name but a few. Louis has been lucky enough to play some of the best dancefloors over the years including legendary nights such as Wiggle and Sankeys on numerous occasions, as well as being a regular at Gottwood and Strictly Underground  ”

 

Not just a DJ, Louis runs various successful record labels, with thew newest project being ‘Bare Bones & Bare Bones Wax’ with longtime friend David Moran. Bare Bones is moniker when Louis and David play out together and they have recently started producing some tracks under the same guise.  Bare Bones Wax is the vinyl only record label.  The fifth release has just gone to press to be released later this year, with he label already boasting an impressive roster of underground artists.  To supplement the label there is a website and blog with guest mixes, interviews, DJ Charts and general news from the electronic music scene. Throughout the series we’ve had a great balance & selection of spinners, producers & promoters who have represented themselves on some of the high end record labels such as Get Physical, 20:20 Vision, Viva, Rawax, Kindisch, Phonica, Hot Creations, Supplement Facts, Rue De Plaisance, Moxy, Headzup, Blindvsion, Zebra Rec, Interplanetar & Elrow aswell as some of the cemented more solid underground labels

Many have applied their sound from the booth with gigs at some of the worlds elite venues/festival’s such as The Rex Club, Space, Mint Club, Fabric, Panorama Bar, Watergate, Goldengate, Club Der Visionäre, Distrikt, Sankey’s, Gatecrasher, Glastonbury, Gottwood & Mint Festival

But sometimes some of the best music collectors & diggers are hidden away in a bedroom somewhere with yet to cement their foot into a brand or platform, I remember Jack Gibbons dad asking me around 12 years ago if I’d pop round and set his sons decks up for him, he was only a young 12 year old lad but while I was there looking through his music collection I was blown away by some of the stuff his was gathering and how deep he was digging and how he’d know some these artists, some of his stuff was in my own playlist at the time, fast forward to today and Jack is fully cemented in the club scene travelling the uk & far-afield to get his music mix, I’ve always said you get some of the best results from the ones who take part & indulge in the dance floors & different brands taking inspiration from different sounds and learning your own craft and it’s clearly evident in what Jack has put together for us, a 1hr 46mins of lovely electronic sounds and different flavours from his folders, I put Jack on our line up when we had Clive Henry and he delivered perfectly just like this mix, check him out, give him a listen, tickle them ears

Nick and Alex both brought up on Basics and Freakin in Yorkshire. They’ve spun records and digital files all over the place from York to Nottingham to London to Hull to Leeds to Dresden, even in Pontefract, and like nothing better than a good rave cave. Ministry of Sound even let them play house records once. They are owners of Freche Fruchte recordings and had some successful vinyl and digital tracks released, some of them were even pretty popular.

Hailing from South Yorkshire, James Maplebeck (mpbk) is no stranger to the scene. The former Ministry of Sound Brand Manager made his name as resident & curator of one of Sheffield’s most forward thinking club nights ‘Cargo’, which ran in the city for over 7 years. Cargo attracted some of biggest names in electronic music such as Sasha, Kerri Chandler, Dj Sneak, Slam & Deetron, closing its doors for the final time in 2013 with Axel Bowman.

Fast forward to 2020, James now heads up his new project ‘sequence’, a global bi-weekly podcast, showcasing the best in deep melodic house & techno.  2020 will also see ‘sequence’ brought to the dance floor with a series of events - bringing together some of the most exciting artists in the world
