But, what role does a battery play and how does that role vary by geography and market? What sorts of software exists to help with optimising and managing batteries?

We then spoke to Brady Technology's Chris Regan to learn about UK and Nordic markets and the role of batteries there before talking with Enegen's David Calmonson about batteries and software in the UK.
