-Can you describe your first ever gig? What did you felt?

How to forget it, it's a long story, a friend sent me a flyer with my name on it by surprise, and I didn't know how to play with cdjs so I went to play with my computer to warm up the party, 5 minutes before I play the party was cancelled, and we went to Casa Jaguar because some friends were playing there, when I arrived Luis del Cid asked me how was my first gig and I said to him that was cancelled, and he said " You will play tonight here, Dj Giant falled sleep" and from playing with computer with no people I went to Playing with cdjs for the first time with people, of course my friends helped me out with the Cdjs, it was so amazing all the random things that happened to me for play for the first time, all my friends supporting me and cheering me out... it felt amazing, its a day that I wont ever forget.

-What has been the most difficult experience as a producer/dj? How did you overcome it?

The most difficult for me was to make a name known, to be patient and wait for my turn, because I wanted to always give more but at first we have to be patient and humble enough for our turn to shine. 

-What advice can you give to newcomers that want to be like you or to any other influential dj/producer?

Just be yourself, be confident all the time, never stop learning, fall in love with the music, and making it your passion.

Born and raised in Venezuela, Miguel Cuartin officially launched his DJ career in 2016 in Panama City. Gaining swift recognition, he became one of the most sought-after DJs for Panama’s elite events, including SpirituSanta, Mystic Experience, Radio Venao, and Late Night Music. As the Resident DJ for Coyo Taco Panamá—a high-end speakeasy concept originating from Miami—and Helicon Parties at Caliope, Cuart crafted a unique musical journey. His sets were meticulously designed to evolve with the dining experience, gradually building an atmosphere that had guests feeling the rhythm by dessert, seamlessly transitioning into an electrifying dance floor exchange of energy. Through his creative residencies and unique style, Cuart played a pivotal role in shaping Panama’s vibrant music scene.

In addition to his work in Panamá, Cuart has brought his sound to Venezuela, performing at the exclusive Terraza 360 in Caracas. In 2023, he made his mark in Madrid, performing at Phoenix Bar and on Live Broadcast on Ibiza Bpm Radio at El Jardín de Diana.

As the founder of Ascends Party Brand, Cuart has brought international talent like Pablo Fierro and Valdovinos to Panamá, sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Yamil, Clemente, Thimble, Landihkan, Ayala (IT), Amine K, Eduardo Castillo, Madota, The Soul Brothers (MX), K.E.E.N.E, Tony Guerra, Leo Perez, and more.

Cuart’s signature style blends downtempo, deep, melodic, organic, and Afro house, enhanced by fresh, natural sounds that shape his unique soundscape.
