Hi guys and welcome to IntransikBeats Podcast #013. Vince Lorenz on the mic, and today we have ‘Perkussiv’s Label owner’ CUBEX in the mix, from Switzerland. This episode will definitely set you in the mood for this 2014 Halloween weekend. 

We start up the journey with an exclusive track from Cubex himself, called Brick Top, that s coming out on Solid Groove Records really soon. The tracklist is mostly composed of his own productions or remixes signed to DMT records, Silent Hell, Elite of Techno and he s also released on other great labels such as Hex Label, Login Records, Concepto Hipnotico, Darker Sounds, and many more. 
I think it’s interesting to mention that this live dj set was recorded with an ipad as third source for integrating extra sounds and elements, which adds an artistic complexity to the mix. 
Anyway, We are glad to have him on the show as we’ve got projects in collaboration with him coming your way really soon, so We ll keep you posted about that in the next episode.

In recent years, Elmar's surroundings have become a powerful creative force, driving him to maximize his potential. Alongside longtime friend Florian Frings, he founded 5D.records.  'LIFE exists. In 2012, Elmar's artistic vision culminated in his debut album, 'living.LIFE,' originally conceived as a live set for a festival. I've just returned home from a very lengthy tour around Europe, Africa and Asia and am stoked to post a recording of my set at @sutifestival 

Was an honour to be a part of such a powerful session, where I played right before Electrypnose on the Friday night. 

Suti Festival was like the catalina wine mixer of psychedelic techno. And boy was this festival a pleasure to party at, connect with amazing human beings on a deeper level at, and perform at. 

Big thank you to Seb G and Andrew Sigil for the invite and for supporting the deeper grounds of the psychedelic subculture at such a beautiful festival location. You guys are gangsters.

Cubex, born in Switzerland, discovered his passion for electronic music at a young age and began DJ'ing at 17. His initial interest in music quickly evolved into a deep passion for Drum&Bass and Techno. Over the years, Cubex honed his skills by performing at various local and national events while simultaneously organizing his own event series and co-founding the Drum & Bass label "Perkussiv Music".

At the age of 30, driven by a desire to take the next step, Cubex made the decision to temporarily step back from promoting and focus on producing music in 2010. His unique style is characterized by daring and creative beat combinations that reflect his musical roots and personal identity. By merging rhythmic and energetic House and Techno beats with hypnotic, psychedelic, and dark atmospheres inspired by Psytrance and Drum&Bass, Cubex has crafted a distinctive sound. He describes his music as "deep and twisted Psy-Techno".

Cubex's impressive discography boasts over 200 tracks, which have been released on more than 30 esteemed labels worldwide, including Zenon Records, AlpaKa Musik, Techgnosis, miniMahlzeit, Copycow, Lethal Dose, and many others. With each release, his international recognition has grown, resulting in an increasing number of bookings for gigs and festivals across the globe.
