Some of my fondest childhood memories consisted of listening to hiphop with dad in the car because we lived in a townhouse back then and couldn't turn up the music as loud as we wanted to. I also grew up watching the Step Up movie series and I guess this setlist is my ode to lil ol' me from back then trying to learn how to do some crumping and tutting hahaha. Little me from decades ago would've loved this so this is dedicated to her.

I wasn't able to play during the first open deck event and that may have been a blessing in disguise because I would have messed up so bad! XD Jordan made sure I got to play this time around (he's so kind, can't believe he'd remember that). <3 So I prepped for a quick 15-minute set to perform on his Pioneer turntable setup at the Re.Union Café. Not my best work but considering it was on turntables, I'll take it for now :)) Hope ya enjoy the whiplash haha!
