Like so many artists, we discovered @hennaonna 's music for the first time on David Nichols' @closertotruth label — her gorgeous and sophisticated Midori no Basho EP, released just over a year ago. Based in Yerevan, Armenia, Henna has also released stand-out tracks on labels including Nite Grooves, Kindisch, Lisztomania and more.

Though impressed by her productions, we never heard her DJ. And then we heard her mix, and we were sold on it. Henna has a dope sound — that deep and warm deep house vibe that fits so well with our Sanctify mix series.

This was the first "mass produced" promotional material that I made as a DJ back in 1998. I hand made 250 of them and sent them out all over the mid-west. I named it "Warning" because of the track I played with that title on side B.

Lucky #7 in my mix series features a Chicago OG who has moved to the year round nice weather in LA, but certainly has not forgotten his roots. J-Dub has been throwing down since the 90s, popping out at all the pioneering House venues (RedNo, Red Dog, & Shelter) as well as held a resident party with DJ Heather at the institutional mainstay, Smartbar. J-Dub's production resume takes no prisoners and showcases a prolific career as a vocalist.  Of late, J-Dub can be seen as a regularly featured guest on DJ Sneak's livestreams, or working the "desk" as Label Manager for Mark Farina's Great Lakes Audio Recordings. Soul Room Sessions is truly a global brand and we have been privileged to have amazing talent on the series from all corners of the globe.  We add a new country to the list as we welcome one of Icelands hottest up and coming Dj's, Sbeen Around!  

Born and mostly raised in Iceland since 1982, Sara was first introduced to house music back in 2007.  and since then has been on a house journey,  finding the sub genres within the wide range of house music while experimenting with house/deep house/tech house and techno. 

She first got on the decks in 2014, and that was  she discovered her real passion for house music & mixing tracks. - Now, since late 2016 she has been making it a goal to better her mixing skills to become the very best DJ she can be.

Having her own mix series, Mug Melodies on House Salad Music, Sbeen Around is rapidly becoming a household name in the house community and we are stoked to have her part of our family!

Cuillere has established himself as a prominent figure in the world of house music, boasting a successful career as a producer and DJ. His journey began in the early nineties, when he first ventured into the world of DJ’ing, performing at various raves. Through skill and dedication, Cuillere garnered a strong following and secured club residencies across the United States. In 1999, he collaborated with Jolby to form the renowned crew known as the "Jack Junkies," further cementing his influence in the industry.

Cuillere's passion for house music production led him to form an alliance with Busy and Crux, which resulted in their debut single being released on DJ Sneak’s esteemed label, 'Oomph.' Building on this success, Cuillere and his cohorts, now known as 'Busy N Spoon,' went on to release tracks on prominent labels like Lingo and Photo Records. Transitioning to a solo career, Cuillere elevated his profile with a series of compelling EPs and remixes, captivating audiences and drawing attention from record labels such as Moulton, House Music Salad, No Fuss, LNJ, Pluralistic, Simplistic, Panhandle, and several others.
